Dear Chhora,
All the issues relating to the identity of Gujjar Pratihars clan of the Emperors of Kannuj were resolved after Rajore inscription was inserted in Epigrahia Indica. This inscription waited for 16 years to be edited and to be inserted in Epigraphia india and probably the people working on other theories were forced to add the same in the history of India since it was already got published in many local newpapers in Rajasthan by then.
The language of the inscription was sanskrit so it did not required experts like Majumdar and Vaidya from the Goverment and thus was edited without any addition or version of the translator.
Hence you can confidently insist on rtemoving all other claims on WIKI.
I would post the text of original inscription of this forum within a day or two.
Regards. AP Singh

Dear Chhora, Please take the contents of Rajore Inscriptions from the thread Gujjar Inscriptions and modify the WIKI article accordingly.
Please edit the same that all the other theories about the origin of the Clan of Gurjar Pratihar Emperors of Kannauj proved completely faulty and thus rendered irrlevent after Rajore inscription was discovered where in line 4 it is clearly mentioned that Emperors of Kannuj and Rajore were Gujjars of Pratihara Gotra.

I hv gone through the views of all readers and Historians of Gurjar Community and they feel proud to connect with Gurjar Partihars. I want to express my honest view that Gurjar Pratihar and Gurjars are different lot . Gurjars were yuichi /Kuhsan graziears who entered in India in long course. Famous Alberuni (1030AD) tells us that there was a Guzerat (gujrat) having capital BAZANA wrritten by Arab Historian/Geographers as 'NARAYANA" which was 28 Farsang ( 114 KM ) from Kannuj in between Gwalior and Ujjain . Rajor (alwar) Inscription make it clear that there was Matan Dev , Gurjar Pratihar feudal of Kannuj and in 6 th line of said inscription it says that Rajjor was surrounded by Gurjar cultivators. In same place a another inscription of 13 th centuray was found which use a word "Buda Gurjar " which is pronounced in Rajasthani as "Bur Gurjars" and that Bur Gujar Rajputs ruled Dausa city before arrival of Khacchawa. I think Gurjar Pratihars were ruling class of Gurjars which merged as" Bur Gurjar "in Rajputs . But present days Gurjars are different from those Pratihars Gurjars. Perhaps it was elite Group of Gurjars but surely not present day Gurjars whose even folklore do not narrate that Gurjar Pratihars were their ancestors.

There are a number of inscriptions and arab records which confirms that pratihars were gurjars. For example kannada poet rajasekhara mentioned gurjar pratihar king mahipala as "Roaring Gurjar".Again the rajor inscription confirms it .Also rastrakutta record of krishna II mentions a king of pratihars as ''Roaring Gurjara''.The Bur Gurjar clan is found among gurjars too. They are laur Gurjars.

. Rajor (alwar) Inscription make it clear that there was Matan Dev , Gurjar Pratihar feudal of Kannuj and in 6 th line of said inscription it says that Rajjor was surrounded by Gurjar cultivators. Please read the original inscription carefully and not the version translated by fabricators of th e History. 1. Rajore inscription clearly says that Pratihar were a subclan of Gurjjaras. 2. The Rajore inscription is about the Lord Shiva Temple worshipped by Gujjars allover and built in the memoery oflthe queen mother of local Gujjar ruler Mathandeva Pratihar, who was from the family of and fuedatorty ruler of Gujjar Pratihars Emperors of Kannauj. Gujjar cultivators are mentioned in the inscription not as ordinary farmers but to cultivate only the flowers for the purpose of worship of lord Shiva. In fact all such temples made in the memory of the ancestors were serviced and worshipped by Gujjar themselves and not by brahmins priests since Gujjar Brahmins has to worship their own ancestors. The Temples of lord Devnarayana is one such example. The Chaturbhuja Temple in Nagda ( old name of Udaipur, ruled by Nagara Gujjars before the invasion of Babar) is another example which is serviced and worshipped by Gujjars as many historical records attest the fact that the Gujjars are descendents of lord Rama.Bar-Gujar is not mentioned at all in the inscriptions. The Gujjars from Bari near Agra were called Bar-Gujjars and one such Gujjars Anup Singh "Singhdalhan", the killer of lion who joined the services of Jahangir is reffered as Rajput. No other Gujjar has joined the Mughals in services ( Except one Gujjar Khan who was from Uzbekistan). Rajour was the capital of Gujjars before Nagabhatta-II,. Pratihar was the branch of Gujjar Kushans or Kasanas and were the rulers of Parthia or Potohar ( Built by second century Emperor Vijay Singh Khatana). The other branch of the same family tree were Gujjar Nagara and Varajjaras ( Bajjads), mentioned in vaillabhattaswamin temple inscription of Gwalior of the time of Samrat Mihir Bhoja Mahan.
