I would like to know the Birth Year of Lord Dev Narayan?
My general assumption is that it should be period around when Gujjar Chauhans asserted independence from Gujjar Pratihar Control.
The family of Dev Narayan suffered most since his mother was from Malwa region ( Gujjar Khatana Gotra) and fahter was a Chauhan Gujjar. The loyality of his family was divided between the rulers of his own clan, the Gujjar Chauhans and Gujjar Pratihars to whom his maternal Uncle was loyal.
From the description of the epic it appears that his times should be the tenth. century.
