Here I would like to inform the follwing:
1. that Bahtinda fort is named after the Bhati Gujjars. This fort was founded in the reign of Gujjar Kasana Emperor Kanishka circa first centrury AD.
2. That the old name of Kangda ( in Himachal Pradesh) was Nagara Kot, i,e, the fort of Nagara Gujjars.
In western UP the Bhati and Nagara Gujjars are most numerous.
Since Gujjars does not marry intercaste and avoid Gotras of Mothers and father both in an arranged marriage there used be very difficult in finding suitable matches for the children of Nagara and Bhati Gujar parents.
Chaudhary Ashraf Bhatti, a Gujjar from Pakistan, who have a done agreat work on the places named after the Gujjars is an advocate in Pakistan Supreme court. Hence it mere ignorance of some people about the a celebrated clan of Bhati 9 called Bhatti is Punjabi accent, like Gujar or Gurjar is called Gujjar there)Gujjars.
