bhaion mera naam ravi hain or main sirf etna khana chataa hoon ki sabsy phaly to sabhi apny naam kay phichy singh joodo kyoon ki gurjjar, yadav,Jat hum sab Kshatriya hann ess liyee hummay aapny aap ko ezzat dayni hoogi thbhi log hummy ezzat dayengy...hamara eetihhas rajputo say great hain par humay thooda badal na hoogaa...so put sinh to after your name.and put thakur also...

Dear Mr. Singh, Jat is sub group of Gujjars and is also a Gotra among Gujjars in Afghnistan. Ahirs were part of Gujjar Kushana Empire and their original Kingdom is Herat ( Ahirat in Afghanistan). Gujjars were written as Gujjars only in the 9th. century historical Persian records and placed above than the Brahmins. All the other castes paid homage to them. Khastriya written as Khatriya in the samr records is term used for vassals of Gujjar Emperors and were called as Khstrap and Mahakhastraps.Brhamins were allowed to take the girls of these khatriaya groups as wives but never gave them their daughters. Rajput is a very new term and introduced during Mughal period only for their hindu servants irrespective of his community. Hence you can not call them as descendents of Khastriyas who vassals of Great Gujjar Emperors.. |
