Thanks gujjars badshah bhai for your kind reply. yes you are right that indian kashmiri gujjars are also backward they need our help.. we need a collaborative effort beyond religion regarding upliftment of our gujjar race. I also have same opinion in regard of our ancesstery.. we are the purest race of sub- continent. javed rahi ji is also a historian also so may be he guessed this concept.. anyways i appreciate your views and invite you to share your precious views on a quite active group on facebook.. www.facebook.com/groups/gurjarpratihars/ . you are most welcome there saving our identity is the most important issue for us. thank you. |

Gujjar community members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa join PPP
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Eng. Muhammad Humayun Khan has predicted that all anti-PPP political forces will met crushing defeat as he added, PPP was not merely a party but rather it was a revolutionary movement which completed many times more developmental works in its tenure against those who grabbed votes in the name of Islam.
He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting at village Dheri, District Malakand on Saturday. On this occasion, former councillor and representative of Gujjar community Abdul Waris along with Fazle Wahid and Khalid and Abdul Amin of Utman Khel community along with their families cut-off their 28 years association with Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) and announced joining PPP. They also reposed full confidence in the leadership of Eng. Humayun Khan and assured him all sort of support in future.
The local PPP leaders Sultan Ali and Iqbaluddin in their speeches highlighted the party manifesto and programme. Eng. Humayun Khan questioned what services the former Provincial Minister hailing from this area have rendered for Islam and the people who grabbed votes in the name of Islam? He added with the Grace of Almighty Allah, their performance as compared to ours, was zero.
The provincial minister said during the last four and a half years, an amount exceeding Rs 166.040 million has been spent on various public oriented schemes in Union Council Dheri Jolagram. These schemes, he added, included construction and up-gradation of Government Girls College and upgradation of Government High School (Boys) to higher level.
He said the main Totakan Batkhela road is being completed with an estimated cost of Rs 990.00 million as per the international standard, which will provide better communication services to the entire people of the area irrespective of political affiliation. He said Rs 30 million have been spent on pavement of streets and Rs 8.00 million on installation of hand pumps in Dehri Jolagram area, which he termed unprecedented record.
The minister while welcoming the new entrants in the fold of PPP hoped that with their joining, the party will again prove an unconquerable force in the next general elections. Humayun Khan also asked the party workers to start preparation for the upcoming elections from today. Later on, the Finance Minister inaugurated a 50- KV electricity transformer at Shewa Banr for the people of Gojar community and assured that all their genuine grievances would be redressed on priority basis within the ambit of financial resources.
