The Kapasia Gujjars were the rulers of Kapisa during the days of Gujjar Pratihar ( Gujjar Prithvi Har, that is the lord of the earth) Empire. This is located in the present day Afghanistan. See the link about Kapisa, which still have a sizable populations of Gujjars. This confirms a en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapisa_Province

This probably happened after the fall of Gujjar Empire, due to infighting of various Gujjar clans or later at the time the Gaznavids raids on various Gujjar kingdoms.

The meaning of Gurjar Pratihar is Prithvi+Har=Lord of Universe only . The historical records available in this regard is Harsha stone inscription of a Chahmana king. ( Another Gujjar clan who were fuedatory kings of Gujjar Pratihars and are called Chauhans today and Prithi Raj Chauhan was the last king of this dynasty). The Harsha stone inscription of Chahamana Vigraharaj II dated 973AD refers to overlords, the Gujjar Pratihar as Universal Sovereignof the Earth in the lineage of Raghu. That confirms that Gujjar Pratihars were the Universal Sovereignof the Earth and are direct descendent of lord Rama who was also born in the race of Raghu.

Mostly Gujar historians agree (NOT ME) that Baisoyas are the descendents of Prithviraj Chauhan. They came to Delhi (Village Gadhi Jhadiya Madiya) in around 1400 AD. All baisoya villages were an extension of this jhadiya madiya family. But if this is true then Why the most famous (controversial) Chechen rebel leader Shyamil Baisoye was called Gujjar. ?

The Chahar Gotra of Gujjars is derived as the rulers of land which was ploughted four times in a year and that place is present day Gujarat only. Chahar = Char+ Har ( Har means lord and Char denotes to the land.
Chawad, Chawda, Chawra are the other names of same Chahar Gotra of Gujjars.
Chahar+Man= Chahaman, that is present day Chauhan is named after Chahar Man , some legendry Warrior born in this family of Chahar Gotra of Gujjar and all the Chauhans of today are the descendents of this legendry Gujjar Warrior.
Similarly Chahar+Luk= Chaharluk, that is Chalukya Gotra of Gujjars and is named after the Legendry Gujjar Warrior Lukka born in Chahar Gotra of Gujjars. All the Solankis of today are the descendents of this legendry Gujjar Warrior. Probably Selluk or Siluk was this legendry warrior who formed a confederacy of all other Gujjar clans to defeat the invading forces of Arabs. Later probably his descendents could not successfully defeat the Arab invaders and the command of Gujjar confederacy went in the hand of Naga Bhatta the Great, the Supreme Warrior of Gujjar race who did not only repulsed Arab attacks but chased them up to present day Afghanistan. The Mihir Bhoja the Great was the Great grandson of this legendary Warrior.

Yadav Gotra among Gujjars. Yadav Gotra among Gujjars is actually of Yodheya Gotra of Gujjars who were rulers of Kannauj before Gujjar Pratihar moved their capital from Ujjain to Kannuaj to look after the the vast Gujjar Empire from present day Afghanistan to Karnataka and the border of Burma in the east side.
The Johyas in Pakistan are probably are same a Yodheyas or Yadavas branch of Gujjar Emperors.
