Is it sure that the film Zila Ghaziabad is scheduled to release on February 22, 2013? If it is than make efforts to make it a big hit to convice the fiulm makers that Gujjar films do good business. its a big chance and you have to take it properly for success.

Hello All,
Finally the movie Zila Ghaziabad is in Cinemas. Though the movie has got good ratings but I didn't find it anywhere near to the true story and real rivalry between Satibir Gurjar and Mahender Fauji Gangs. The movie fails to show the real depth and impact of the gang war which once became the highlights of all norther Indian newspapers and magazines.
Any other reviews ?

Why Gujjars were waiting for this film because there is no use of Gujjar word in it and I think in future chances are nil as commercial film on Gujjars because mostly they always oppose it on record nay how it was a great loss because Indian dub films are also on cinemas in Afghanistan, NWFP, Punjab Pakistan.I was quite surprised that there is no noise of its as Gujjar's film means tghere was no Gujjar, Gujjar anywhere.

Dear Dr. Saab,
This was due to the pressure of Mahender Fauji's family. They threatened the director that they'll go to court if the director claims this movie to be based on a true story as it ruins their family image. The director later changed his mind and disclaimer was shown that this movie is based on fictitious characters and does not resemble any true person.
Due to this reason the director was restrained from using the word Gujjar in the movie, though it is everywhere on the internet that the movie is based on Satbir Gujjar and Mahender Fauji. Movie reviews and other websites like Wikipedia have mentioned it clearly. But I accept that this was a mistake and the use of 'Gujjar word' would have made wonders for our community. It was an irreparable loss.

Mr.Ashok Harsana, If film director was in pressure due to of Mahender Fauji's family than they have to change Fauji's name why Gujjar? I also have heard that film is not close on reality but question is not that they not use the Gujjar word, actually real matter to whom I concened that no body will try again to use Gujjar word or film on Gujjar personalities as in past because of the Gujjar's voice against their films. As you know a Thakur never mind as he is shown as lanlord or dacoit or negative chararcter. history books have not much influence for rajputs but Indian films promotes them and Punjabi Jats also not mind but I always listened that Gujjars are screaming on the film whenever anyone going to make a film on Gujjars. Indian films have so much influence on Pakistan, Afghanistan, India . If no body is on your merit than why you people not make films, its business. Mostly Gujjars not accepts new things but its not new now why their heart not asks them to promote their community by media. In Pakistan educated Gujjars made efforts again and again even through courts to stop Gujjar films but fact remains fact that Gujjar word is promoted by only by films in Pakistan but pakistani film industry is finished now. Gujjar film will do business as like Zila Ghaziabad and If Gujjar word were inserted in the film than it could became block buster but after watching movie people left the movie in between the film. Cable system could promote it every where but what can I say more. I am sorry to say that I am not seeing any modern changes on media. I am friend of Gujjars and I am dishearted because you are still standing there where you were.

Film on the life of Pratap Rao Gujar
Sources say this particular incident dates back to the reign of the Maratha emperor Shivaji Maharaj. The incident talks about how Shivaji's brave Army Commander General Prataprao Gujar, along with six other Maratha warriors, laid down their lives while fighting for their king. This courageous tale was later immortalised in a poem titled 'Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat' penned by eminent Marathi playwright Kusumagraj. The movies are based on this particular poem. When PT contacted Suhrud Godbole, producer of one of the movies he acknowledged making the film. "One of our projects in the pipeline is based on the iconic incident but everything is still on the planning table. We are yet to finalise how we will develop the story. Mahajan is presently working on the script which he will direct." Amit Bhanushali, the other producer on his part revealed, "We are making a film based on this major event that marked Shivaji's life and Manjrekar has agreed to direct it. In this high budget movie we are planning to use high-end international technology to bring forth the required grandeur." While both producers denied feeling threatened after knowing about each other's products, Bhanushali added, "The subject is not a private one and thus anyone can make a film on it. It does not make any difference to our plans as finally it will be our version of history." This year saw two releases 'Chandi' and 'Mhais' which were based on the same popular work of noted Marathi playwright PL Deshpande. Similarly, the life of great social reformer Savitribai Phule will be unfolded in two upcoming films 'Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule' and 'Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule'.

Saurav Singh Gurjar, four times kickboxing National Champion and a wrestler and now an Actor.
It’s not easy to essay the character of Bheem, one of the pivotal characters in Indian mythology. But for Saurav Singh Gurjar, who plays the role in the telly show Mahabharat, an even bigger challenge is adjusting to life in a big city like Mumbai.
A kickboxing champion and a wrestler, Saurav is quintessentially a small-town boy from Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the offer to act was a big surprise for him. Says he, “Even my forefathers have been associated with wrestling, so being an actor was never on my mind. In fact, I find life in Mumbai tough. It’s very congested. There is no room to walk in apartments and people are always running around or looking out from small windows in their buildings.”
The actor also has to maintain his diet. Standing tall at 6 feet 8 inches, he weighs 135 kilos and is a vegetarian. He says, “My weight is proportionate to my height. Wrestlers in India generally weigh around 127 kilos. I have no medical problems.”
The production house, says Saurav, takes care of his diet. He says, “My day starts with one litre of milk and 45 pieces of soaked badam. For breakfast, I have around six aloo parathas. Lunch consists of one litre dal and dahi, lots of veggies and around 16 rotis. I consume a lot of fruits —around two kilos of apples and oranges everyday. Now, I have started drinking protein shakes too. My dinner is heavier than my lunch, because I can’t sleep without eating properly at night.”
