This is in response to the query of Divyansh asked in the thread related to films.
Kaun si kitab mein padha tha aur us kitab ke writer ne apne is jhooth ko sabit karne liye kya original references diye the (and what primary sources of information were given to support his claim) ?
How does he support his claim by references, like inscriptions and historical maps that Ujjayani and Kannauj, the original and later capitals of Gujjar Emperors of Pratihar Gotra, are located in Gujarat and not in Malwa and UP respectively. In the absence of these references, consider and treat the writer of the book as a cheat whose sole aim is to steal the legitimate history of Gujjars and ascribe and propagate the same in favour of his illegitimate customers, who became rich and powerful during the slavery period of the country to fund such writers.

ye raj. ki history book mein padha hai or iske writer dr. ojha the unhone pratiharo ko rajput bataya hai unhone kaha tha ki pratihar gurjar isliye lagate hai kyonki wo gurjartra se related the... 1. Full name of Ojha is Gaurishankar Hirachand Ojha where Hirachand is the name of his father. This kind of writings of names is common in present day Gujarat only and not in Rajashthan. If Ojha is truthful about his statement cited by you, why he himself write his surname Ojha and not as Gujjar, being a native of Gujarat. In actual the native of Gujarat are called as Gujratis and the founders of the kingdom are called as Gujjars (Gurjjar Nripa Vansha in the inscriptions).
2. Gujjar rule ended in Gujarat during the days of Allauddin khilji since the days of it's foundation by Gujjar rulers. According to Ojha’s own hypothesis later rulers of Gujarat should have been called as Gujjars, which is not the case with them since they were not Gujjars.
3. Ojha has titled his work as the “history of Rajputana “ which is named as Rajputana only after 1857 the first war of independence. Earlier a large part of Rajputana was called as Gujarat. According to his hypothesis pre 1857 Jat rulers of Bharatpur and all other rulers of Rajputana should have been called as Gujjars and post 1857 Jat rulers of Bharatpur should have been called as rajputs and not Jats.
4. Ojha has used Dyodhiwan (doorkeeper) in his works for the meaning of Pratihar clan of Sri Gurjjars, which not only shows his poor level of knowledge of history but also literature. Actual historical and literary meaning of the word “Pratihar” is a “great warrior” capable of defeating and killing the great enemies skilled with stratagem and deceist at his own place. In Gwalior inscription of Gujjar Emperor Bhoja the Great , the title ’Pratihar’ is used exactly in that sense. Among Gujjars it is a sub clan of Khatanas.
The writer of the Gwalior inscription was a great scholar and Ojha is certainly no match to him and stands clearly exposed as the original writer has left no scope for any other interpretations of his writings. According to the inscription as well as the great epic Ramayana, Meghnad was an invincible warrior fully skilled with stratagem and deceits, but failed completely in battle against Laxmana the hero of the inscription and the epic and was not even allowed to step out of his home before being defeated and killed by Laxman. Hence the writer of the inscription called Laxman, a Pratihar, the great warrior ( and not as doorkeeper aas wrongly interpreted by inept people like majumdar and ojha). The view of the original writer of the inscription is well attested by the writings in the Buddhist literature where Guatam Budhha is called a ”Pratihar” and at the same time, an incarnation of Laxman. The actual Sanskrit meaning of Dyodhiwan (doorkeeper) which is commonly used used in all the Sanskrit inscriptions is “dwarik” and not “Pratihar”.
In colloquial language there is word called “Dogla”. The Sanskrit equivalent of Dogla is Dwij ( Dwi=do and aj =born) which is normally taken for Brahmins as twice born but it can also be taken as born of one mother of two fathers and also born out of parents of two different caste or creeds. Such writers like Ojha and rc majumdar, who are not consistent with their own hypothesis throughout their writings and use one meaning of the same word for themselves and other meaning of the same word for others, are called Doglas and not Dwijs where Dogla in colloquial language is a disrespectable word but Dwij is respectable and is used for the honest and reputed brahmin scholars only.
5. Moreover the original seat of Gujjar Emperor of Kannauj was Ujjayini located in Malwa and not in Gujarat. Hence, even the false hypothesis adopted by Ojha in his wrotings, does not apply to Gujjars Emperors of Kannauj.

Gaurishankar Hirachand Ojha was appointed by the rajput,s Udaipur house to write rajput;s history and a huge amount was given to him for this purpose so he was same like Firdausi who was paid by Ghaznavi to write about him by paid but he admitted that Rajputana was named by British on the type of Tilinguana, Gunduana to feel them proud. Every person must have this sense that why they do that.

Khatana to be NSD head :
Abdul Latif Khatana is set to be the director of the National School of Drama, sources in the culture ministry said.
A selection panel had sent three names to the ministry which selected Khatana. Arundhati Nag and Waman Kendre preceded Khatana’s name on the list drawn up by the panel citing its order of preference.
Khatana is from Kashmir and graduated from the NSD in 1986. He is the founder of theatre groups Adabi Sangat (Kashmir) and Kirdar. He is credited with conceptualising and organising the NSD’s first national theatre festival for children, Jashnebachpan. Khatana’s name has been sent to the appointment committee of the cabinet for clearance.
“I will like to clarify that there has been no delay on our part. The selected name has gone to the department of personnel and training in February after which the file has gone back and forth between the DoPT (and the culture ministry) over some technical queries. Director will be in place shortly,” culture minister Chandresh Kumari Katoch today told a news conference, days after nearly 30 theatre personalities submitted a memorandum to her.
The memorandum had said despite three names sent to the ministry in November, the director had not been announced. “As per the unanimous decision of the selection committee, Ms Arundhati Nag, an invited applicant, was found to be the most fitting candidate and was placed on the top of a prioritised list of three names,” the memorandum had said.
Shyam Benegal and Girish Karnad were among others on the selection panel. Former NSD director Anuradha Kapur’s term ended in July 2012 and she was given an extension. She finally relinquished the post on April 30 this year.
