This point was raised in 1980,s and the govt of that time was ready to formed another cast based regiment but something happen because of that formation of gurjar regiment was canceled. sorry i am not supposed to disclosed that. but i am in the favor of the gurjar regiment If we all speak and stand together this file can open again. You must be talking about Ch. Charan Singh's denial to form another caste based regiment. But that was as per our constitution and there was nothing based on prejudice or bias.

When Gujjar Scouts was anounced in the favor of the Gujjars of J&K, it was a happy moment and was very hpeful for Gujjars but later it was not done. I think it is not easy to create a new caste base regiment. If it is not possible than every one must ask to finish every caste base regiment such as British named their one regiment ( not exactly know the name) named as Jat regiment and the others. These are must be finished because these are symbols of slavery times and pointed those who sided the foreiners against their own country men. These caste base regiments are the symbol of shame for us but these castes feel proud on it and these caste base regiments are becoming cause to create of inferiority complex among the other castes. So the Govt must give have to finish these names by renaming them or they have to give the others the caste base reiment too at least those who gave boood in 1857 for their homeland. Its a matter of equal justice for every one in free India.
There is also a fact that Gujjar's main peronns or families have not done much for Gujjars because as I was reading Alrai digest of Arain communtity of Punjab. This caste is considered as peaceful caste, once they were banned for military in british times because of theur non fighting skill but their one personn who was in the guards on the arrival of George fifth and convince him to create Rin regiment on which George fifth agrred and they also made an succesful effort to lift the banned for arains or rains in military. Anyhow, govt must make Gurjar regiment or finish every caste base regiment because as I write earlier up that its a matter of equal justice for every one in free India.

Brother question is not about capabilities such as most big award of Pakistan Nishan-e-Haider was started on the Major Tufail Muhammad Gujjar's bravery. Pak military there have to be must a award for such kind of bravery and the this high award was created. In British times Kamal Harsana in world war where he was awarded in Battlefield by King arrived personally. The miltary was surprised this young boy who lonely operate with three machine guns in Samali Land. It acknowledged the British that they were wrong to just relly on the capabilities on regiments of whom castes they made. Before that Gujjars were declared as criminal caste and banned to join government services due to their best part in the war of 1857 so at that time when other caste base regiments were created by British and Gujjars conditions were such as stated above. When Gujjar's awareness was starting and British govt was going to approve Gurjar Regiment the Independence not gave them much time but after Independence once govt was going to create Gurjar regiment but in assembly some members like Ch. Charan Singh who was once became C.M of U.P by Gujjar's favor he and some others opposed caste base regiment. In BJP time Gujjar Scout was in process but dont know much what happened and its still in cold corner. So I think brother you not know exact position. I still say UIndia have to create the Gurjar Regiments who were called Partihars(Muhafiz) of India by saving India from Arabs, and fights to Muslim invaders and British and you are still arising the question of capabilities, brother question is only that they became the part of main stream very late and still not much in the game.If Indian Government cant reward them by their name regiment than have to finish all caste base regiments who fought against their own people and homeland under the flag of British Raj that is the only capability of the caste who have the regiments of their names

Some times argue not works because the other one already have maken your mind set that no body will come in Gujjar area to join force and Gujjar Scouts was not recommended so it clearly shows that you not have much knowledge. If you belongs to an Army family than it not means that you have the decision Powers of recommendations for communities. So in my opinion you should spent you time on army sites and I RECOMEND YOU BE BAN ON THIS FORUM because I think Gujjars dont need you suggestions.
