The current year and next one is very important as far as the elections are going to be held in Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana , as well as in the center for Lok Sabha in 2014
The position as of now of Gurjar Role has not been very good in the above states
Rajasthan - innocent Gurjars have been fooled successively by both BJP as well as the Congress as also by the so called leaders who are too many as of now in rajasthan. What has been achieved actually in the last 7 years no body knows. Except one thing that whole India from North east to kerala knows who the Gurjars are. The another benefit is that all the Gurjars now know the vastness of the spread of Gurjars in the entire North west India from Kashmir to the North Maharashtra and From Gujarat to Bundelkhand Distt.
Nothing really has been achieved by the Gurjars of rajasthan even after the full support of the Gurjars of the UP, Uttarakhand , haryana etc for the cause of Rajasthani Gurjar. This is because there is no clarity of actions and all are playing to the media , to the political parties and using the emotions and anger of the large Gurjar population as a currency to make their political careers.
Until and unless the Gurjar find a common cause with the castes like them in rajasthan and launch their own party the things are never really going to improve.
In UP , until Mulayam Singh yadav formed Samajwadi Party there was no real growth of the Yadavs even though they comprises nearly 9 % of the UP population. Real growth and the capturing of power took place only during Mulayam Regime . Although ther had been Yadav cheif Minsiters during earleir Congress Govt but Only in Mulayam reign the yadav really captured the Police and administration. Until and unless gurjar of Rajathan recognise this they will never reach progress in real terms . I am emphasising Rajastha because except rajasthan and jammu and kahmir i dont believe that any other indian state can sustain a political party run by the Gurjars. But this thing has still not happened even after so many years. Gurjar can not depend on meena or Jat to get their share of power as these are competitor castes and all are from the same cultural or rural background , so why will jats or meena favour Gurjar interest rather as a natural law they will favour their own interests first.
GURJAR of Rajasthan should form a political party , and take at least 2-3 other upwardly mobile castes with them and make a formula to win the political game in Rajasthan like Mulayam has Muslim and Yadav, mayawati has Pandit and SC, Similarly Gurjars can forma union with maybe Rajputs, Rawats, yadavs and muslim s etc in rajasthan to form a political party
Haryana - This state has in all the districts significant Gurjar population but the Gurjar of haryana are still far behind the jats, yadavs etc in getting near the power centres of haryana. Gurjars of NCR area like faridabad, Gurgaon, etc have huge money but the political power to be noticed and achieve requires that the Gurjars of Yamunanagar, Punchkula, kalka, Kaithal , panipat and mewat, mahendragarh and rewari too should achieve the political level which the Gurjar of faridabad or Gurgaon etc have reached.
Delhi - only seven gurjar manage to win when at least 10 - 12 Gurjar can win MLA elections in Delhi. no Gurjar has ever been made a minister in Delhi although Gurjar claim to be richest community of Delhi , this is because low level of participation in the state machinery by local Gurjar of Delhi. Except a few cases , most of the Gurjars who are doing well in Delhi belong to either UP, haryana.
Merely winning the student elections does not help .Gurjar of delhi need to participate more in the mainstream to be noticed.
Gurjar should learn from the bania . it is well known that bania is a rich community and bania people are involved in trading and run factories and industry , shops etc but stiill that does not stop the bania boys and girls to study and join the service industry wheather Govt or private. i have seen many bania boys whose parents run shop but they are doing naukri . Similarly if Gurjar have money in Delhi than it is an added advantage for them that they can study higher and join govt or private jobs and realise theior dreams as they do not have to worry about the basic thing like food shelter etc, rather they should try to ecxel in any field without fear.
In my view a Gurjar can become the Chief minister of Delhi , rajasthan or Jammu and Kashmir one day.
