Uttar Pradesh

Kairana - Since delimitation this seat has become a Gurjar fortress as not only the old Kairana and Thanabhawan area is in it but the vast Gurjar controlled rural regions of neighbouring Saharanpur like Gangoh and Nakud are part of this seat now.
1. Babu Hukum Singh Chauhan - BJP
He is current MLA from Kairana and Ex Minister
2. Kartar Singh Bhadana - RLD
He is current MLA Khatauli (Muzaffarnagar)

whereas the other two parties have given ticket to Muslim Gurjars
3. Nahid Hassan - SP
4. Kanwar Hassan - BSP

Muzaffarnagar - This seat has Gurjar majority areas like Khatauli (Muzaffarnagar) and Sardhana(Meerut)in it.
1. Chaudhary Virendra Singh - SP
Six time MLA , EX Minister in UP Govt and currently Chairman , UP Sugarcane Seeds Development Corporation.

Bijnore - This seat is also peculiar as it has areas of three distt (Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Bijnore). The Gurjar dominant areas are Hastinapur in Meerut , Purqazi and Meerapur in Muzaffarnagar.
1. Malook Nagar - BSP
Industrialist belong to Meerut and is the Elder Brother of Lakhi Ram Nagar , who was Minister in previous BSP Govt.

Baghpat - This seat has Gurjar majority areas like Baghpat( Old Khekra area) and Modinagar. Although many Gurjar villages now also come under Chhachhrauli seat.
1. Prashant Chaudhary - BSP
His wife is current BSP MLA from Baghpat and he himself is MLC of Meerut-Baghpat constituency

Noida - This seat is the Gurjar heartland south of Delhi. one assembly segment Dadri is having the highest Gurjar concentration in whole UP. Just as Jat have Chhahhrauli , Gurjars have Dadri. It is said nearly 1.75 Lac Gurjar are in one MLA seat of Dadri which is a part of Gautum Budh Nagar Distt(Noida).

He is chairman of UP State Agro Industrial Corporation Limited and one of the founder member of Samajwadi Party in 1990.
2. Satish Awana - BSP
He is businessman and Ex UP Jal board chairman in BSP Govt. Belongs to village Harola in Noida.

1. Avtar Singh Bhadana - Congress
He is sitting MP of Faridabad and Miner Businesssman

2. Krishanpal Gurjar 'Bainsla' - BJP
He is MLA Tigaon and EX BJP president Haryana

1. Sachin Pilot - Congress
He is Union Corporate Affairs Minister and State President Rajasthan. He is sitting MP Ajmer

Bhilwara - This seat is said to be the religious capital of Rajasthan Gurjars as the famous Sawai Bhoj temple of Gurjars is located in Asind , Bhilwara distt. Also out of the 8 MLA seats in this distt 4 are won by Gurjars. This distt is said to be having the highest Gurjar Population in any distt in India.

1. Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria. - BJP

He is powerful Gurjar leader and is EX MLA Sohna (Haryana). Belongs to village Jaunapur in South Delhi. He is a businessman and CMD of SS group which deals in property and real estate.

Ch. Kanwar Singh Tanwar is contesting election on BJP ticket from Amroha. From Bojnore, AAP has fielded Dr. Gaurav Chauhan. From Gurgaon (Haryana), Pehelwan Dharmpal Rathi (village Kota) is contesting from Gurgaon seat on BSP ticket.

Karan Singh Tanwar if contests with tact in Amroha than he may win this seat also. The Garh Mukteshwar seat and Brajghat area of Distt Hapur ( previously Ghaziabad) is part of Amroha Lok sabha and this area on both sides of River Ganges like Gajraula / Bachhraon and areas north of it towards Bijnore / Chandpur has good Gurjar population. Even Malook Nagar (BSP)was once thinking of fighting from this seat.

About Gurgaon for Pahalwan Dharampal Rathi we may see as BSP is weak in Southern Haryana also Gurjar of Sohna / Mewat should vote for him.

Kanwar Singh's way to victory seems very difficult because of two Muslims candidates. Moreover Rakesh Tikait may prove to be a tough contestant from Amroha. In my honest opinion RLD is going to give good fight in almost all seats in UP where Gurjars are contesting. Amroha: Kanwar Singh Vs Rakesh Tikait, Bijnore: Malook Nagar Vs Jayaprada and Baghpat: Prashant Chaudhry vs Ajit Singh.

I request everyone reading this to call your relatives in these areas and ask them to vote for Gurjar candidates. Even if they don't win, their vote share may force Big Parties to field more Gurjar candidates in future election.

what is the proof of dinsha patel and himmat singh patel being Gurjars and calling themselves as Gurjars. i Have never heard any Gujarati politician calling himself Gurjar. whereas every body knows the names of the Gurjar leaders of Haryana, UP, Delhi ,MP and Rajasthan.

satendra is right as the photograph is of Jat called birendra singh from Haryana. whereas the Gurjar Chaudhary Virendra Singh is a six time MLA from Kandhla constituency since 1980 and has defeated every major leader from there. Now the constituency name has changed and is called Shamli.

No proof for Dinsha Patel....? I doubt being there any proof even for Dilip Singh Joodev .....and so called Muslim Gurjars of Western UP....In such a communally charged atmosphere of western UP, IS THERE ANY REALLY MUSLIM GOOJAR BACKED BY OTHERS... Pl provide their background of calling themselves Gurjars FIRST ...

But Himmat Patel belongs to Karoli district of Rajasthan and his father Sh Prahlad Singh moved to Ahamdabaad just few decades ago and settled there.

Is Mr. AP Singh listening .....this is the best example of the caste /surname mobility ...when within few decades a common GURJAR of Rajasthan becomes Patel of Gujrat and generates a new identity(nothing wrong in it , this is how new caste / surnames have evolved in India)
