Dear Ashok & Gujjars, Mostly community persons thinks that there is no Gujjar film in India.It's right there is no film in India on the name of Gujjars but there are some films in which Gujjars are shown. (1)Indian Punjabi film "DO SHER".In this film Gujjar role was of a daciot who always wear black dress.(Note:black colour was permanent in Gujjar dress of Punjab.Black means dark after loosing the rulership.Black also means kala ii means Gujjar attacks like kaal(kehar).There is also a subcaste "KALA"among the Gujjars of Punjab).The role of Gujjar Daciot was played by the famouse film actor of his times Heera Lal.Dharaminder was also in this film who played the role of a C.I.D.Inspector in this film.In reality he is a Jat.Important yhing of this film was a famouse song "UTH OYE MAJHAY DYA MAL GUJJARA".It means awake up the most powerful or master Gujjar of majha(central punjab near river Ravi).This song was very much on air by India radio at that times. Gujjar were concidered MAL GUJJAR OF MAJHA.The Gujjars of this area have no brain in their heads they only have powerfull hands and they know very well how to use them and they always use them.There was no need to have any kind of weopen in the presence of these hands. You can cont the areas of central Districts Ferozepur,Amritsar and Lahore.First Ferozepur,You can imagine the bravery of Gujjars of this area by that British appointed a officer from one of then on them to make them peacefull.JAGGA GUJJAR was also an ammigrant from that area un lahore.Ghunda tax was named jagga tax afterwads of his name.First Ghunda act was implemented because of him when he killed some persons in katchehary.Tooll Tax Boxes was also fixed in land and chain locked because of him.He was the only person who neher surrendererd.A famouse columnist says that it is surprising that Gujjar had not surrendered for his personal honour but General Niazi was not stopped by national honour of his country in 1971.Its very hard to be like a Gujjar.After his death films was made on him by his family.Gujjars are enjoying the status of fear given by him.He was called Jagga Badshah now every Gujjar called Gujjar Badshah.It was our badluck that he died in early age otherwice we could be established in every field in provisional capital where still so many Gujjar writes "GUUAR BAADSHAH" ON THEIR TRANSPORT.Secondly amritsar they leave no other way except to fight .They abused to heavily before to talk with others with their heavily covered face or mouth with moustaches. Local Gujjars of lahore i have not much about to tell them.Here i tell you the famouse event of Inside Lahore which is surronded by walls and gates means old Lahore.Event IS like that a thief theft something from a home and run away .People were after him and rush of people crying THIEF ,(CHOR ,CHOR).The thief hide on a roof certailey he listened the words that a person in rush was saying that the thief is on Gujjar"s roof.After listening this he jumped again on the other roof agan where he theft the things because it was better to kept him by the theft things owners and police arrest comparively Gujjars.In films Gujjar culture is adopted as punjabi culture because the only Gujjars wears long shirts to near feet .It was sign to claim ther is no one like us and we are most brave.It was also prohibited during the time when ghunda act was implemented because it was concidered a sign of badmasshi and Gujjars were concidered full badmash at that time and people were even afraid of a gentle Gujjar. Gujjar is concidered traditionly as a person of height with health.He most shortest nasal index and fair colour. (2)There is also another punjabi indian film"DOLI".In which actor Vinodh Khana played a role of a GUJJAR TRUCK DRIVER.He had good fight scenes in this film with a very niceful and honorful role of a Gujjar.He was shown a brave fighter. This was the detal if indian punjabi films.Next time i will give the detal of indian hindi films with traditons and details like i have described as above.

Dear Gujjars, (1 ) There are Gujjar hindi films in India.There was a film namely"bhai bhai"(not sure namely but it was).In this film manoj kumar was hero.In film he delivered a dialogue to willan prem chopra "TUM BHI KIA YAD KARO GAY KISI GUJJAR SAY PALA PARA THA".Film story was same like GUJJARS.Elder brother film actor balraj sahani a farmer make all efforts for the education of his younger brother but after getting well set he leave him then his youngest uneducated manoj kumar teach him a lesson.(2)"Bhavander"film was made on reality .Sanwri Devi(a kumhar woman)film actress nandita das do a complaint about the child marriage of Gujjars and in reply she was rapped by Gujjars namelyPurnia,Ram Sukh and two more Gujjars ana a brahmn.After getting arrest they released from court.An educated Gujjar PartapChohan advocate film actor gulshan groverfights case against the Gujjars in the film.Anyhow good thing was in this film was that Gujjars were called upper caste in the film.It was an art movie.(3)"MELA"This film is very famouse in Pakistan .In this film a Gujjar Tinoo Verma played a role of a Gujjar .His looks were also same like Gujjars and bravery (dehshat)with cruelty was wonderfull.Other actors was Amir Khan and tkinkle khanna.In the film Gujjars entry in mela(fair)was realy marvealouse.Baka Doya (a Gujjar from Gujjarat punjab)was also like that whhen ever he entered in mela afterwards he gave permission to start mela his son in law was Ch.SARWAR Poonch who was punished to hang seven times by court.No mother can born a Chaudhry like him.He was very beautiful with big moustaches like I am.History of Gujjarat is only a story of blood nuts among Gujjars.When ever Baka killed someone after buuried he never allowed to stay them in their home.If the other party stay at home so it means that they also be concidered as enemy to kill by him and when some one kill his man he also orderd to make a grave with the grave of his man.

Upperwad I write about the song of indian pujabi film"DO SHER" song " UTH OYE MAJHAY THHA MAL GUJJARA".In the ither pujabi film ther was also a song "NA MAL GUJJARA NA CHAD THAY MERI BAN"means please mal Gujjarb leve my hand which is strictly in your hand.Gujjars are always concidered Mal Gujjar in Punjab as owner of Punjab.I don't know what is the meaning of Mal?.There is also a very famouse folk song in Punjab"UCHIA LAMBIA TALIAN OYE WHICH GUJRI THE PING WAY MAHIA" eans a tall Gujjar girl can only have ping in the long trees of tali.In old times rainbow was also called GUJJARI KI PING.it also shows that how much our ancesstors were tall. I also have read in samaj sandesh the name of Indian Gujjar films namely,Gujjar Chaudhry, Veer Gujjar, Jan Jaghdu Gujjar, Gujjari, Rani Gujjari, Haryanvi Gujjar, Gujjar Badshah, Sher Gujjar, Gujjar Ka Jawab etc.I think these films are not made.Why even regional films are not made in India.Hindi films must be make on heros like in Indian film"BORDER"Bergadier Chandpuri was Gujjar and his role was played by sunny deol in film.IN Indian films many criminals are shown of thakurs like,lakhan,juvala but they not make of our high characer and highest quality like Mohar Singh,Nirbhay Singh, Satvir Gujjar,Bunty Gujjar, Salim Gujjar, Haimoon Gujjar(still alive)etc.Now a days so many films are being made and are in process of BHAI LOG.According to the ststement of the director of the film"OMKARA"is made on Gujjar culture but in film he not use Gujjar word.In film "BANDIT QUEEN"there is a role of Babu Gujjar who rape Phoolan Devi as a person of upper caste.In Rajasthan a film coming "VEER GURJAR"on the Gujjar hero Dev Naryan who had faught for the purity of Gujjar blood against the rajputs to differentiate the difference of Gujjars honourfull pure blood and mixtue of rajputs.Dev Naryan ki gatha a folk alwars sing by singers in Rajasthan.We have to save our traditions to whom we are giving no attention like in punjab.Our uneducated ancesstors always told us about Ram,Lakshman,Karishan were Gujjars but we are finding Gujjars in bitish's foreign origin theory.In punjab there were song about Raja Salbahan,Raja Risalu,Pooran Bhgafat are told Gujjars. In west punjab Raja Porus eas concidered as Gujjar.In CASTES OF PUNJAB author DENZIEL IBBETSON rejects our subcaste POR by writing these words that It is just an effort of Gujjars to connect themselves to Raja Porus.Every Khitana Gujjar still knows traditionly that JAY PAL was a Khitana Gujjar.Three years before Gujjars of Chambal had orgaised a progame of the dance of one thousad Gujjars with naked sword in their hands.In this progame the minister (chief guest)accepted the reality of Gujjari language tjat once it was the official language of the whole India whhich is only limited tin Kashmir now.

Hi Gujjar Badshah,
1. The famous director Dheerubhai Desai made a film on gujjars "Veer Gurjar" in 1932.
2. The famous movie Kranti was made on Gujjars of Landhora Riyasat.
3. The latest hit movie Hulchal casting Akshay khanna, Karina kapoor, Jackie sharoff, paresh rawal, Amrish puri and many other top actors is actually based on the lifestyle of Gujjars of wetsren UP. there is a song in the movie (I think its the very first song)..where Akshay Teases Karina while singing "gaon se aayi re gujariya.)
4. there are countless songs over gujari's beauty:
A. Sonu Nigam's Masum: in this song the singer sings purely in Gujjari language "konho ku ja ri e ri Gujariya." and Gujariya Gujariya ...
B. Dilip Kumar's Nain Lad gaye hain toh manva ma kasak huibe kari starts with the line "nain lad gaye ek goriya Gujariya se"
C. A very famous album song "Jara dheere chalo" also has a line "main bholi bhali gujariya.
and the listy goes on...
So its not like Gujjars have no presence in movies and Indian cinema....they are everywhere....
But still we should keep on searching...

Dear Ashok & Gujjars, Thanks for reply and for more information.I was also going to write about the songs.There is also a song in Shah Rukh Khan's film CHALTE CHALTE WHOSE SONG IS " PREM NAGRIA KE TUM BHI DAGRIA CHALO HUM TAU CHALAY SUNG TUM BHI GUJJARIA CHALO".Singer Manaday's song is also very famouse "JHANAK JHANAK TAURI BAJAY PAYALIA ..........CHALAT TU AISAY JAISAY BARINDA BAN KI KOYI GUJJARIA".First hit film Gujjar song was of PERMIT WAS"YAR THE KHATIR PAIS WATAYA MAIN GUJJRI BAN GAYE WAY GUJJARA TERE RANG WHICH RANG GAYE"means Gujjar i have changed myself and now i am in your colour and dress ".AFTER THIS GUJJAR FILMS AND SONGS CAME LIKE RAIN.Most hit Gujjar punjabi song is now a days in pakistan"JAPHI KUT JAY PAWAIN IK WAR GUJJRA SARI ZINGI RAWAN GI TABAIDAR GUJJARA"means that Gujjar please take me for only a moment into your arms than I will be obidient for forever.This song is every where in punjab you can ask any persaon who comes from punjab.In mujaras,weddings.transport every where is this Gujjar song especialy on stage.This song is of KALA GUJJAR film.He murdered a bad guy and afterwaeds this case becomes the case of honour of the Gujjars and other community.Kala Gujjar is MAZHAR GUJJAR'S real uncle(husband of his mother's sister).Mr.Ashok what is the meaning of MAL GUJJAR and are ther any folk songs of Gujjars in u.p,Delhi,Harayna.In castes of punjab Danziel Ibbetson have stated the tradition of Rani Gujjran as daughter in law of Raja Risalu AND a song of Dya Ram Gujjar whose three wives asks for gifts in the song of Ambala area.

Dear Ashok and Gujjars, There are many songs on Gujarya and i have listened many of them including you have told to us.In a star plus channel programe film star Amitabh Bachan sang his father's poetry as "MALAY MAIN KHOI GUJARIA JISAY MILAY MUGH KO MILA DAY".Gujaria is a sign of dignity in Indian Songs as our glorious past.In Pakistan there is also a very famouse song"WAY GUJJARA WAY" This and another song "JAPHI KUT KAY JAY PAWAIN GUJJARA" makes them out of control when throw their currency on lady dancers in dancing programes after getting heavily drunk.And they shout loudly HAAAA with both lifting hands.Kanjars knows the weaknesses of Gujjars very well and they always praise their bravery because they know A gujjar always so proud of their bravery.In punjab Jat s are using song factors but Gujjars are also awakened and using it succesfully.So sad Gujjar poet Waris Ludhianvi has been died if he would alive then we can be a much much better.Hewas avery big can say most big name in punjabi film songs.His song "VEER MERA GHORI CHARYA"is like essential in every boy's marriage and also in marriages music tones.Sahir Ludhianvi was also a Gujjar who rulled indian film industry many years.Ahmed Gujjar wrote HEER RANJHA in Aurang Zeb times afterwards PIR WARIS SHAH followed him and write HEER.Maulvi Ghulam Rasul Alampuri WRITE "ahsasulqisas" on Yousaf Zulekha.MIAN MUHAMMAD BAKSH (poswal)write SAIFULMALUK which is very famouse and read nearly in every religiouse ocassion.In India you have to work at least on Gujjar song cassetes believe tou will see the difference.Wherefar i know Arjun Rampal is not Gujjar,he is the cousin of film actress of Kim Sharama(brahmin).Akshay kumar is a bhatia.bhatia khatris are named bhatias because they were imigrants from old and finished city bhatia near Multan like immigrat Gujjars from that area are also called bhatias.Bhatias,Aroras,Pirachas shared the status of khatris and also intermarry with khatris.It looks that Akshay Kumar is cast conciuos person because he had affars with Raveena Tandon.Shilpa Sethi(both khatris)and he is married to a khatri girl TWINKE kHANNA after having an affair with her.In his last tour of pakistan he admits that he is a punjabi from Amritsar and i saw a interview on t.v personaly in which he spoke punjabi very well.Anyway we have to use media because it is media tome if you are in media then you are add if you are not then you are not at all.Indian film MELA have given a lot of courrage to Gujjars.You have to use your contacts and send suggestions to movie makers. not only in hindi alsi in regional films.Is there a film industry in Delhi too or not.

The Gujaria used in film songs does not means a Gujjar woman but a 16 year old girl.

Dear Ashok, You can tell better than me that the both Akshay and are Gujjars or not .There was no Jat word in Bombay Industry but only one Jat Dharamendra came the whole situation changed what these persons have done for their community name"GUJJAR"even one of them is a member of Gujjar Sabha.Yesterday I was watching programe"KAUN BANAY GA CROREPATI" on STAR PLUS channel.It was a quiz programme which was hosted by filmstar Shah Rukh Khan.A guest "Sameer Gujar"participated in the programme to answer the questions.Once in the programme host call the guest Sammeer Gujar as "Sameer Gajr".You can immagine by this how much we are nameless that even King of bollywood knows our name and can't read and pay the word properly "Gujjar".Its true history plays so big supportive role for the comming generations but our history is no more ours atleast in school courses but it's not a matter to stop to make our future.For example Jats still have not much account in their history and nearly no other historian (except jats)takes them much seriously but their songs in whish they are praised have taken them far away and films like MAULA Jat have done marvelouse job for them.Are not we behind from 1931 when a silent film VEER GURJAR was made?.Believe me you persons have no idea that what coming generations will say to us and in which words they will remember to us if someone educated Gujjar will remain as Gujjar?.And in the last with sorry I am going to ask you a personal question Are you married in a Gujjar family because you have not touched the issues of Arjun Rampal as a cousin of Kim Sharma and Akshay's marriage in Khanna family .How a nonGujjar can be relative to a Gujjar even he is also a President of mumbai Gurjar sabha who is doing nothing to make Gujjar word famouse through films if he can't do in his own films than why can't he do in other films by using his friendship and personal contacts .Its not much hard because Dharamendra and his sons are doing this for their community even they are not member or preident of any Jat sabha.At least in one matter vijayraj was right about that why your personlaties not call themselves Gujjars openly?
