First of all Namaste and Salam to all my Gurjars brother and sisters.
Hi Ashok bhi ji
I have read articles on the internet about Gurjars in Rajasthan, to what I understand the Gurjars want a ST, and not an OBC statues, can you please elaborate on this topic in more detail.
Also I want you to tell me, are Gurjars considered a low caste in Rajasthan and In India, is their some sort of list which the Government has to identify caste in hierarchy positions, and if so were do the Gurjars Stand.
Before I go I want viewers to understand that Gurjars were and are the Greatest Kashtriya Caste ever to emerge out of India (Bharat).
Many Kings and Royal castes originate from this Royal Gurjar Caste.
Namaste and Salam.

The Gujjars of Rajathan were included in the official list of Backwards castes in 1998. Few years later the Jats of rajasthan were included in the OBC list without making any provision of additional quota for them. At that time Gujjars were promises that they will be put in the catagory of Scheduled Tribes to win votes of Gujjars as well Jats. Also this was a game to put more people in the reserved catagory to leave more space in the unreserved catagory for others which is not noticed by these innocent people at time. This was also done to divide the Gujjars and Jats in similar fashion like divide between Gujjars and Meenas are created but Gujjars maintained harmony that time.
In Rajasthan n India during Mughal period the Gujjars, Jats and Meenas were suppressed and were put to differential tax Systems where these communities were forced to pay tax as much as 76%. Brahmins paid only 12% and rajputs only 33%.
During British period the many Jats improved their position by joining the British army, whereas Gujjars and Meenas by and large kept away joining the foreigners. The rajput and Brahmins immediately aligned to the new regime after the fall of Mughals and found special favours in jobs and other activities.
After independence the best thing would have been to remove all the British servants but that was not possible to run the country all of a sudden. There were some leaders like Gobid Ballabh Pant who are said to have given punishment postings to the earstwhile servants of British regime who have tortured him in jail during the British power but others like Iron Man of India Sardar Patel used them to best of their potential to the good of the country.
Now the fact is that these people who remained in during Mughal and British period do oblige the people of their own community being in power in jobs and business dealings which is nothing hut a sure reservation for these communities . that is the resaon most of the constituencies where Gujjars dominates are reserved and land of Gujjar dominated areas is to be aquired first. The Meenas improved their position and can oppose these communities but Gujjars can only oppose them by power of their arm but in that case they are falsely implicated in the cases of crimtes since they have neglegible representation in the administration. That is the reason the Gujjars are fighting for reservation there in Rajasthan which they rightly deserve . That is true that the Gujjars were regarded as the highest caste in India but they were particularly targeted and killed during British regime. Also their history is suppressed and falsely ascribed to others.

Hello Brother AP Singh ji
Thank you for the reply has explained a lot, can you please post some sites about other Gurjars in Indian not from Rajasthan, who are prominent have good jobs, own business, official site where Gurjars are shown belonging to the kashtriys Varna, and their rule.
There is someone who I want to shut up, he doesn’t know anything about gurjars but thinks they are a low caste, I have many books on our Royal caste, but he denies reading them, but if I email him websites, which are reputable, he will definitely read them and will be educated.
Thank you.

1. Gujjars were the highest tribe among all hindu castes till 16th. century, higher than the Brahmins ( mentioned as Brahma) and Khastriya (mentioned as Kataria) in the follwing website. The were also spoken as Aljuzarias ( Gurjara translated from Sanskrit to Persian and then persian to english) wtitten Subkufria in the following text in KITÁBU-L MASÁLIK WA-L MAMÁLIK OF IBN KHURDADBA. Reference site: persian.packhum.org/persian/mainThere are seven classes of Hindus, viz., 1st, Sábkufría,* among whom are men of high caste, and from among whom kings are chosen. The people of the other six classes do the men of this class homage, and them only. 2nd, Brahma, who totally abstain from wine and fermented liquors. 3rd, Kataría, who drink not more than three cups of wine; the daughters of the class of Brahma are not given in marriage to the sons of this class, but the Brahmas take their daughters. 4th, Súdariá, who are by profession husbandmen. The 5th, Baisurá, are artificers and domestics. The 6th, Sandália, who perform menial offices. 7th, Lahúd;* their women are fond of adorning themselves, and the men are fond of amusements and games of skill.* In Hind there are forty-two religious sects;* part of them believe in a Creator and Prophet (the blessing of God be upon them!); part deny the mission of a Prophet, and part are atheists. 2. You may also see the nasal index analysis on royalgurjars.com where the Gujjars stands at the top on the racial analysis. 3. The Gojari langulage is also the Indo- Aryan language, confirms the Aryan ( the superior most) origin of Gujjars. 4. All the websites definning who is khastriya and who is not take the reference material written about the Gujjar kings like Kumar Pal Sanhita, who was a Gujjar Solanki king and Solankis were were one of the fuedatory kings of Gujjars. Prihvi Raj Raso, presently availbale is modified a lot and is written in 16th. century and most of the Royal clans you find there are nothing but Gujjar Gotras. Your friend has to search for these individual Gotras og Gujjars like, Pratihars, Tanwars,Chauhans,Solankis, Chawras, Chandellas, Khatanas, Dahimas, Gorse ( or Gors), Dodhe ( or Dor) and you will find lot of reference material about them in the books and and on the websites. There are thousands of websites where you can authentic material about Gujjars.

I prefer to avoid giving details of living personalities without their prior consent. Also in my personal life I dont differentiate the people on caste and creed basis and live in complete harmony with the people of all faiths and never look for the people of only from from Gujjar community. That is the reason probably I would not be able to help you.
I am proud of my ancestory but never intend to disrespect others and would be glad to respond to your quieries regarding Gujjar History only and I can also support all my past claims with historical evidences in this regard?
Regards. AP Singh

Maharaja Scindhia of Gwalior betrayed Laxmibai. He gave her a weak horse. Sensing something fishy Laxmibai decided to leave Gwalior. She laid down her life, while fighting British, on 18th June 1858. www.gwaliormunicipalcorporation.com/gwaliorhistory.htmThe Maratha Power started from Gujjar dominated district of Satara by Gujjar Baisle ( called Bhonsle in Marathi and Gujjar Malwais). The ancestors of this so called maharani were no where visible during this struggle of Gujjar Marathas against the Mughals. The first of her ancestor was noticed while he was protecting the shoes of the Baji Rao Peshwa ( Minister) while the later was on a pleasure trips to a prostitute. ( Ref: Aag or Paani by Acharya Cahtursen Shastri). The first Sindia was hired by Baji rao Peshwa ( Minister) to take care of his shoes. Also it is believed that Mahadji Sindia escaped from the battle of Panipat with Abdali. It is also believed that Sindias gave the first information to brotishers about the Rani Laxmi Bai and that was reason she was cornered and killed. Now to the ignorant people of Rajasthan this lady address herself as Maharani, what a distortion of history. This advantage is also taken by other erastwhile servants of Mughals and Britisers only in Rajasthan. Now Niharika is also seen addressing her as maharani for all her personal gains. This kind of tricks can adopted only in Rajasthan where people are simple. Niharika should be given the Historical lessons to stop her to propagate the false history.
