This woird rajput is used for ancient rulers of India in Muslims and British written history otherwice there is no proof of this word used before 12th century, never written in old Indian books, never the part of name of any khastrya ruler,no area behind their name .Rajputana was named by the british rulers to feel them proud.Rajkumar word is always used for a prince.Actually these landlord of muslim rulers who supported rhem in eery way.In Ain-e-Akbari it is clearly witten that the real khastrya are nearly finished and the persons of different proffessions have taken swords in their hands and are serving in the army and are being called as rajputs. The list of rajputs in this book word raja is not used with any darbari rajput except faterinlaws name of Akbar but Beer Bal and Todar Mal was also written rajas hence they were khatri and brahmans.Farista writes clearly the reality of rajputs thatr the the son of a khastrye from the other caste and of unmarried status is called rajput. In Tazkaraealam there is so much brief about that how every person who gave daughter to muslim king or rich muslim always callthemselrs rajputs.I cant say much about that how a mughal servant can write wrong about mughal relatives and in presence of them also. You can imagine it after seeing the film mughaleazam and alsoi compare the agitation of rajputs against the film countrywide and Gujjar agitation givinf over hundred of lifes but they nevefr stopped but rajputs were nearly handeled by a cinema owner only.i never see any where a rajput brave than Gujjars,Ch.Shahab Din Gujjar had hit a meember and minister Rana Phool of patoki Kasurwith a chair in a public meeting,Ch.Saeed Gujjar have slapped on the face of Roy Hassan Nawaz the district Nazim sahiwal(CAN CALL CHIEF MINISTER OF DISTRICT),Fazala Gujjar the owner of only two acres kill a rajput of thousads of acres with a Khanjar in a Mela when he was going certainly voice comes in his ears that "still alive"he turned back quickly and after finishing him he went to murdewred house and said that "I have killed your father go and pick him up".Its Gujar style to go always against the rulers.Ch.mehndi Gujjar throw a chair to Nawaz Sharifin a party meeting at Faislabad than Nawaz hide to save himself.Bhola Gujjar burned the house of Sher Ali the brotherinlaw of Nawaz Sharif.Amjad Gujjar hit a slap on the face of Chief Minister & brother of Shahbaz Sharif in the result he was killed in an police encounter. There is another Gujjar (Mazhar knows his name I think he is his relatie)have done a same thing.Gujjar never ever tries to get benefits by keeping in toych and praise of rulers. Its not in our nature. There was a time that Gujjars were abusing outside a minister's homeKausar Niazi and he was seeing after hiding the window.Thats why the Babar have written Gujjars as Badmash but that was not badmashi that was right to defend their country. You can really proud of Punjabi Gujjars because after divide of country they get nothing ,their animals.lands,a lots of people were finished and especially they have not get much claims because of their uneducation and you know how a claim of animals can be fullfil Arains, rajputs and lower castes get so many benefits from Pakistan but the Gujjar hae get trheir status only and only from their bravery.

It is tru that during Mughal period the Gujjars suffered a lot and at the time of downfal of Mughal empire so many Gujjars raised their own kingdoms . Satara, Parikshat Garh, Landhora, Samthar are some of them. Poonch was also one of them. Poonch was also one them www.poonch.gov.in/AboutPoonch/AboutPoonch.htmIn 1798 A.D. a Gujjar leader Rooh-ullah-Sangu became the ruler of this area. Mughals were against the Gujjars since they were great threat to Mughals and Gujjars are targeted and killed like Arangjeb captured and killed own brothers who were also a threat to him. Similarly British also targeted Gujjars in similar fashion as they targeted Mughals and Peshwas and all of these groups were dispossesed of their lands since they were considered a threat to British empire. There are so many groups who were insignifant before the arrival of Babar but gained power and prosperity during Mughal period only and that is the reason the names of clans of hindu darbaris at the court of Akbar are completely missing in Babar nama and no resistance of any kind is mentioned to Babar from these newly emerged clans.

Formation of Rajput clan shekhawat www.hindubooks.org/dynamic/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=328&page=9Page9 Mandalika, the Abhira ruler of Somanatha, was also among the confederate princes who pursued Mahmud's army. Mahmud could not withstand the onslaught. The Tarikh-i-Sorath states that the Muslim army did not make a stand but fled. It was a rout. "Shah Mahmud took to his heels in dismay and saved his life, but many of his followers of both sexes were captured.... Turk, Afghan and Mughal female prisoners, if they happened to be virgins, were accepted as wives by the Indian soldiers.... The bowels of the others, however, were cleansed by means of emetics and purgatives, and thereafter the captives were married to men of similar rank." www.hindubooks.org/dynamic/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=328&page=10"Low females were joined to low men. Respectable men were compelled to shave off their beards, and were enrolled among the Shekavat and the Wadhel tribes of Rajputs; whilst the lower kinds were allotted to the castes of Kolis, Khantas, Babrias and Mers."7 The Devala Smriti was in active practice. Muslim chroniclers corroborate the fact that fever and thirst paralysed the bulk of the army. It was trapped into waterless regions. A large part of the army and most of the beasts of burden perished on the way. At last Mansura in Sindh was reached. 7 Tarikh-i-Sorath, p. 112. hindutva.org/landrajnamavali.htmlWhat rankled Prince Masud most was the defeat of Mahumd Ghazni at the hands of the Gurjara rulers in North Gujarat, after he was returning to Afghanistan with the booty he had collected during the destruction of the Somnath temple in Gujarat. Not many Indians know of this defeat. But it was this defeat that dissuaded Mahmud Ghazni from invading India again. The Afghan soldiers who were taken prisoner by the Gurjara army were forced to give up Islam, shave off their beards, convert to Hinduism and were absorbed into the Rajput clans. Masud vowed revenge for this defeat. www.hindubooks.org/dynamic/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=346&page=6The first name of the peninsula after Kushavrata, was Suratha, Saurashtra being a Sanskritised form like Maharashtr and Rashtrakuta. The original name Ratha or Redda is likely to have a close connection with the word 'shur-rudd' of the Assyrians and may indicate the Rathiks of the Ashokan inscription. The name survives in the Reddis of Telangana and the Rathods of the North. We can, therefore, assume that in very early times, the shores of Saurashtra were studded with places where maritime races lived or came to trade; and Prabhasa, as an ancient port, was a centre of international contact.

Huns were absorbed India as vassals of Gurjar kings .Only later they sought to legtimize themselves by creating a fake hagiography like agnikund legends and calling themselves Rajpoot and kept doing what they have always always done ..... betray their overloards.
