The title of Gujjar Pratihar Emperors were PMP ( Param Bhattarak Maharajadhiraja Parmeshra) and their Gujjar fuedaories like Gujjar Chauhans, Gujjar Chandella, Gujjar Solankis, Gujjar Parmars, Gujjar Guhilas, Gujjar Tanwars, Gujjar Nagara and Gujjar Bhatis were Maharajadhiraja, Maharajadhiraja Parmeshwara, Rawal etc. etc. The village heads used to called as Thakkura as in Gujjar Chandilla records are commonly reffered for Brahmins and Kayasthas.

Dhillika is founded and named after Dhillu Gujjar of Tanwar gotra in 736 AD who was fuedatory ruler of Gujjar Pratihar Emperors. Meharauli was the capital named after the Gujjar Pratihar Emperor Mihir Bhoja the Great as Mihir+ awli ( the residence of Mihir Bhoja) Bhojpal ( present day Bhopal is also named by Gujjar Parmars after Gujjar Emperor Mihir Bhoja the Great. Prabhas Patan was also named by Gujjar Solankis after the Gujjar Emperor Mihir Bhoja the Geat since Prabhas was another name for him. The fourth viruda ( celebrated name) for Mihir Bhoja the Great was Varaha or Adi-varaha and thus he is regarded to be as as the incarnation of lord Vishnu.
