There is NO Doubt that it is related to Gujjars. We also find places like Gujar in Nepal, which shows the presense and dominatin of our community till Assam {as written by historians that at the zenith of their power Gujjars ruled Kamrup (Asam)}
Anyways, Well done Mr. Rampal for your kind contribution to our research.
Thanks and Regards

Gujar Places In Pakistan
The thousands of places were named after the Gujjars and their sub-tribes in the Sub-Continent during the period they ruled over the South and some part of Central Asia. In these days an interesting discussion is going on as to who the Gujjars or Gurjars are? I am mentioning the name of some places situated in all the four provinces of Pakistan. This do not include the villages named after the Gujjars situated in Jammu & Kashmir, Northern Areas and the Tribal Areas. I will updating the visitors of this site after I complete the data in respect of these areas. I will also try my best some time later to provide the name of villages after the sub-tribes of Gujjars. The following data will help the analysts and historians to draw some befitting and logical conclusion. I will be highly obliged if any brethren may add to my knowledge by mentioning such places named after the word Gujar, Gujjar or Gurjar, situated in India or any other part of the world. Kindly forward this despatch to other sites discussing the Gujjar’s dilema. Regards

The name perhaps comes from the fact that Kutila letters and vowel symbols are rather complex (Kutila, meaning complicated). Almost all modern scripts of India have grown out of the two main forms of the Kutila script. Devanagari evolved from the west regional form of north-Indian Kutila, while Bangla evolved from its eastern or Magadha form. The transformation of eastern Kutila script began in the 6th century AD. Some time during the reign of the Gurjara kings, most possibly during the reign of Mahendrapala I, son of Bhoja, Kutila script entered Bengal. The copperplate inscriptions of his son Vinayakapala, dating from the 10th century AD, are in the Kutila script. 3. Due this vast areas which were part of Gujjar Empire having the army size of 80 lakhs and cavalry size of 36 lakhs mention by Arab scholars the title Pratihar ( Prithvi+ Har) was given to them.
The other Gujjars of gotras like Gorsi, Khatana, Chauhan, Solanki, Parmar, Tanwar, Dor, Chawar, Bhadana, Nagari, Karhana, Chaprana etc. were regional fuedatory kings of this vast Gujjar Empire.
Har is a very important word among Gujjars.
It is added in place of Jee at the end of all elderly people.
Also among all old Gujjar folk songs it is added as hare in the end of each paragraph
Also it is added before the name of Lord Shiva but prior to the name of lord like Har Har Mahadeva.
The meaning of Har is probably lord like in case of Gujjar Pratihar it is the Gujjars, the lord of the whole earth.
