I wonder why Ghulam Nabi Azad is not listed among Gujjar MP's. When he was Chief Minister in Indian Kashmir, his opponents were chanting slogans, "Gujjar-Gujjar Hai Hai ………..Nab Gujjar Hai Hai.” as reported by Dr. Javed Rahi at:

Here is a bit extended excerpt:
"Thousands of people were participating in the procession and raising slogans against the government agencies and chanting jingles against Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad. The demonstrationists were raising slogans "Gujjar-Gujjar Hai Hai ………..Nab Gujjar Hai Hai.”"

I had heard about Azad's Gujjar background but did not have confirmation. I though this report confirmed it. Here is what I wrote at the above site:

Dear Brother M Gorsi,
Ghulam Nabi Aazad never called himself a gujjar and moreover none of my friends from kashmir gave any such clue. He is a high level politician and Gujjar Think tanks cant afford to miss his name while talking about Gujjar politicians.

We need more info.

In my opinion the list of MLAs from Madhya Pradesh and Haryana are not updated. One of my friends from Madhya Pradesh mailed me regarding the same, I request all of you to try and update the list of MLAs from Madhya Pradesh and Haryana.
