R. S. Kasana completed his bacholar’s degree in 1969 from Meerut
University, Meerut, UP, India. He completed his master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.-Physics) and master’s degree in technology (M. Tech.-Applied Optics) from I.I.T. New Delhi, India. He completed his doctoral and post doctoral studies from Ujjain University in 1976 in Physics and from P. T. B. Braunschweig and Berlin, Germany & R.D. Univ. Jabalpur correspondingly.
He is a senior Professor and HoD of Computer Science and Applications Department of Dr. H. S. Gour University, Sagar, M P, India. During his tenure he has worked as vice chancellor, Dean of Science Faculty, Chairman Board of studies. He has more than 34 years of experience in the field of academics and research. Twelve Ph. D. has awarded under his supervision and
more than 110 research articles/papers has published.

We should focus on these modern era heoes..........! Also it would be better to mention regarding the services, if any provided for the community by these modern era heros? Now a days there are atleast 10 Engineering and Management colleges in and around NCR are owned and run by Gujjars. There are so many Sugar Mills own by Gujjars in Khandesa region of Maharashtra by Gujjars. |

how many person among you know Mr om prakash gandhi...........
i meet them. i saw in my whole life only such 2 or 3 personalities.
unhe dekhne se lgta h k ha hum pure arya h, they run GURJAR KANYA VIDYA MANDIR, devdhar,yamunanagar, haryana.
school ka environment ekdum gurukul jaisa, girls k liye cmplt diet wid pure milk nd fruits.
school trust has many cows and each cow gives approx 25 ltr milk perday.
jaha tk mera khyal h harshana bro to jante honge. kaum k sacche veer h wo jinhone apni govt job chhodkr kaum k liye kuch kr dikhaya. my three younger cousins study there. many girls of our area study there.......he is realy a great person among gujjar biradri.

Mr. Om Prakash Gandhi is doing a great services for the upliftment of the educational level the community. The "Short History of Gurjras: written by Rana Ali Hasan Chauhan, is translated in Hindi by his sole efforts. Rana Sahib was the 28th. direct descendent of Prithvi Raj Chauhan, the last Gujjar king of Gujjar Chauhan dynasty, a celebtrated gotra of Gujjars and a great fuedatory of Gujjar Pratihars. I would suggest that the Gujjars of J&K and Himachal Pradesh should be approached to utilise the educational facilities provided for the community by him so that they can fully enjoy the benefit of the provision of reservation in the Central Government jobs applicable to the community in those areas. In case some sort of funding is required for this purpose it should be raised through this forum and we should be willing to happily contribute for the same.The efforts of such people should be supported wholeheartedly.I went to meet him at his Gurukul once but he was out of station at the time of my visit. Frankly speaking I did not know about him till the time of my visit to his Gurukul last year and one of my friend who is a high official in Haryana Government insisted me to meet him. Later I read about him in his translation work of Gujjar history and really could not get a chance to meet him again. His Gurukul is providing good and safe facility for the community people specially living in rural areas and does not want to send their girl child unescorted to live independently and get educated in the big cities. |
