Hi to all my Gurjar brothers and sisters.
I really want to know was Gama (Ghulam Muhammad) the best wrestler ever lived a Gurjar. Or is this just a theory, because many Gurjars are claiming him to them selves but I know friend who have contrary theories to this claim.
Please I really need to know if he was a gurjar or not, my Pakistani lahori gurjars may have more knowledge on this subject, as Gama lived his remaining life in Lahore, and some gurjars may even know his family who still live in Pakistan.
If any of my gurjar brothers from India or Pakistan or any other part of the world knows any factual information please post it on this forum.
Finally only authentic proof should be brought forward pleeeeeeeeeeease no theories just actual evidence.
Thank you.

To All Gurjars! mazing no gurjar has come forward with any information but brother Ashok and other members have him on their website. if he was not a Gurjar dont u think then u should remove him of ur site? This is misleading info Thanks Dear Mr. Chechi, Most of the Gujjars does not have access to internet and many who have access to internet can not post their message in Engilish. Gama was not a direct relative of mine and I can not comment anything about him but in my village many people say that Gama was a Gujjar of Kasana Gotra. To see more about such things happening, visit WIKIpedia where all the history of Gujjar dynansties like Gujjar Pratihars, Gujjar Chauhans, Gujjar Solankis,Gujjar Parmars, Gujjar Tanwars, Gujjar Chadillas etc. etc. are stolen by others and no Gujjar is responding to these thefts. One more thing you should be informed that many other people who are very very successful in their life are also not responding to these internet queries. To my knowlegde the descendents of the Great Gama are very successful business people today and are not in wrestling anymore and they may not respond to your queries. So there is no need for you to panic and jump to the wrong conclusion.

Gujjar Brothers, How many times I have to write that Gamma was Kashmiri. His relatives Call themselves "Butt" a kashmiri caste.Wife of Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif Is also in his lineage. Not even a single Gujjar admitt his name as a GUJJAR. Its only a Jat tradition to make every sucessful person as a Jat. If he was aGujjar than where are his relatives among Gujjar community.Chiragh Gujjar of Amritsar was also a big name in wrestling before partition. Gamma's rlatives lives in Lahore and Gujranwala and still are in this field famouse as KAsmiri Butt. I don't know on what proof and sources tou people are gong to say him Gujjar again and again.

To gujjar badsha
Any proof to this claim that gama was kashmire beacuse he was born in amritsar, and if his origin is kashmire that doesnt necessarily mean that he is butt caste because their are many Gurjars living in Kashmir toady.
And please don’t quote or give reference from wikipedia because majority of the information on this site has been written by people who have no knowledge on the background they write about. I personally know a friend who has joined wikipedia and he writes so much crap on the site that lame man would think it’s the true but in reality its a load of crap. And when I questioned him about this he said he just does it for the heck of it.
So now would u be kind enough and tell us your sources
Thank you.

He was a GURJAR from kashmir , where gurjar community is still thriving separatly and pehalwani is still practised there only in gurjar villages .Secondly you dont take the clan name of families you marry your women to ,do you? no you dont .Even now many gurjar girls are married to kashmiris but that doesn't changes their fathers clan to their husbands does it? .So stop blabbering
