Dear Gujjars! After 1st World War, some gujjar clerks in Simla Secretariat manged an Anjuman-e-Gujjran every member paid two Annas per month, by this fund they arranged the boarding and lodging of the new comers from the villages and helped in providing the services. Following their examples such Anjumans were organized at Delhi and Lahore. These Anjumans render great services to wards their community. Every where such organizations were formed by these clerks. Mulvi Fateh ud Din Kushan consolidated in one unit. A general meeting was held at Hoshiarpur on 29th and 30th March 1941 AD, in which Mulvi Fateh ud Din was elected president of the Anjuman. In a meeting 1942 AD at Jallundar the rules and regulations of the Anjuman were approved and Anjuman was declared a non-political organization dealing only with the educational development. The Anjuman worked for the betterment of the Gujjar till the creation of Pakistan in 1947.
In June 1949, the old Anjuman-e-Gujjran was reinstated under the name of Anjuman-e-Markazya Gujjran Pakistan. Ch. Islam ud Din (son of Mulvi Fateh-ud-Din) Deputy Commissioner of Sailkot was elected as president.
On 29 August 1949, the Anjuman passed its rules and regulation which it was registered by the Pakistan Government Authorities. All local anjumans through out Pakistan were affiliated with central organization (Anjuman-e-Markazya Gujjran).
In 1960 AD, more then one hundred branches of this central organization were working through out Pakistan when its headquarter was shifted from Sialkot to Lahore. At Lahore Anjuman built a high school and office building and carried on education programme for year till today.
Now Ch. Akbar Ali (Faisalabad) newly elected President of Anjuman-e-Markazya Gujjran Pakistan for next period.
With Best Wishes
Azeem Qamar Gujjar +92-333-6697168

Dear Azeem,
Do you publish some weekly or monthly magazines where we can reach out to our Gujjar brothers living in Pakistan and Afghanistan specially in Gujjar dominated rural areas to make them aware about our Great Ancestors?
In India, in Jaipur and Gwalior some people are publishing monthly magazines targetting the rural population. Many people in India specifically rural areas does not even know that Gujjars are living in large numbers in Pakistan and Afghanistan, sharing the same culture and language as we have in India. Few years back even I was also not aware that Pakistan and Afghanistan has sizable populations of Gujjars. It is mainly because of the fact that our great Gujjar history is stolen by others and we are reading the concocted, false history mostly written by the people who prospered and risen to prominence during the slavery period of our Great country, called Aryavrat.
Regards.

Ram Ram AP Bhai, Bhai, I read somewhere that you are going to write a book on Gurjars histry. When we are suppose to get the copy in market. I like your posts very much. Ram Ram ji Shreydev Bhai, Though the 80% of the contents of the book are stored is my database but formatting and collecting the remaining 20% of data is difficult job. So it may take some time. Meanwhile, I think, that the historical articles can be sent to the local magazines being published at local level so that the objective of writing the book, to inform about the history of Gujjars to Gujjars, can be fulfilled. I can translate the material to sent to these magazines in Hindi ( using English characters) so that it can be translated easily in to Hindi, Gojri and Urdu language, if required. Also the original English article can be published alongwith translated material. Regards. AP Singh
