Two Interesting thing in your intro:
1. Ambawtas are called Mawta and
2. Your Naani's Gotra is Pratihar

1:ambawata are known or called mawta,,,there is no any big reson behind it because tonk jaipur or kota bundi me bhi hame mawta hi kahte hain..lekin dausa karoli me hum ambawta k naam se hi jaane jaatey hain.
ambawata ka thikana SINGHAWAL (AJMER ) se maan te hain.
bahut pahle MUGHALS se ladaai me ambaawtas ne kaafi bahaduri dikhaai thi.
2:naani ki gotra pratihaar h jo ki shri DEV NARAYAN bhagwan ki bhi h.....

Have my introduction :I am Malkiat Singh, Gotra - Jinderh, Basically resident of Nabha District Patiala,Punjab. Now a days settled in Canada.Other Gotras in Nabha and in its vicinity: Kusana, Chechi, Kals, Vijran, Baharwal,Mareerh,Meelu, Khatana, Hakla,Chouhan,Koli,Thurgula,Chhuan( juan ),Sangu,Paurh,Larhi,Dhau,Dedherh,Panwar, Chahrh Bhatia,etc. all are mix Hindu and Sikh.
Before migrating to Canada I was Lecturer History in Govt. Job in Punjab.
