Wonderful my Brothers!!!!!!!
Being a Cheche from Swat, N.W.F.P., Pakistan it was pretty amazing to see the site you people have made.
I would definetly encourage you to include some personlaities from Pakistan in the famous Gujors; like the present speaker of Pakistan National assembley; Ch. Amir Hussain, Chairman National Reconstruction Bureau; Ch. Danial Aziz, Rulers of Swat State, President of Pakistan, Ch. Fazal Ilahi (1973-1978).
While the data about Pakistani Gujors is I think not correct. There are more than 50,00,000 gujors in N.W.F.P alone. In Punjab Pakistan there is a huge population of Gujors that’s why in punjabi film industry every fifth film is about gujors.
Once again I appreciaate you guys for being so helpful for your brothers and sisters.
Iftikhar Ahmad

Hi Mazhar, Hi Mazhar, Recently I have obsereved on some of the buses in Delhi written as Rexwal brothers and Veer Gurjars together. In Delhi more than 50% of private transport buses are owned by Gujjars. So in Delhi also the Rex gotra do exist and seems to be one of the very old gotra of Gujjars. Regards. AP Singh

Hi Deepak,
It was originally Renkene. I dont know if it is related to the sound made by buffalows or cows as we also call it "Renkna". But there is much possibility as many of the gurjar gotras derived from either place names they ruled or were derived after the animals,(Bakri or bagri, Boken), being their ancient profession.
