Jammu, September 26 –Issuing a Nationwide appeal to Gujjars for a joint community efforts to restore the pristine glory of all historic monuments related to “Gujjar Partiharas” period , who ruled princely states of northern India from 6th to 11th centaury AD, the Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation- a frontal organization of Gujjars in Jammu and Kashmir today expressed shock over decorating condition of various world class architectures include buildings, Forts, sculptures , Temples, Coins and other Arts built by Gujjar-Pratihara kings.
Raising the issue, Dr. Javaid Rahi Secretary Tribal Foundation said in a statement that hundreds of prestigious monuments of Gujjar period are lying in shambles and facing a great threat of extinction in different states of Northern India. He appealed the community members, organizations, trusts, Government and Non-Government organizations to join hands together to restore of old memorials of their ancestors which are endanger but still portraying vibrant and liveliness picture of Gujjar’s era in India.
Quoting history of India , Dr. Rahi said that the Gurjara-Pratihara kings (6th to 11th AD) were great builders of India .The main king of Gujjar clan Raja Mihir Bhoj, was the most outstanding rulers of the dynasty who built a numbers of Forts, Building , Temples in India which are presently at the verge of extinction . He said notable sculptures of this period, which lying in shamble include Viswaroopa form of Vishnu and Marriage of Siva and Parvati from Kannauj.He added that beautiful carved panels are also seen detoriating painted on the walls of temples standing at Osian, Abhaneri and Kotah and the female figure named as Sursundari exhibited in Gwalior Museum is one of the most charming sculptures of the Gurjara-Pratihara Art.
He said ,communications in this regard were also sent to Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Madhiya Pardesh, Gujrat and other states with a plea to start restoration of all Historic building of Gujjar period but he asked that a community initiative is also required to rebuilt some of the historic buildings which are going to extinct during next couple of years.
He said we also wrote to Union Minister of Culture to declare the main Forts, Temples, Coins and other Arts built by Gurjara-Pratihara kings as “Protected Monuments of India”. We have also sent a list of most threaten monuments of Gujjar Period to Government of India with an appeal for immediate steps for their restorations, Rahi said.
He asked the community members to help our organization in identifying more such under threat monuments built by Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty of medieval India so that the issue of their restoration would be taken up with government of India or other relevant agencies

Dr. Javed Rahi has raised two crucial issues related to Gujjar History and also related to Gujjar welfare.
The Community leaders should take these issues to appropraite authorities to get to their logical conclusions.
1. The first issue is to get alloted 10 acres of forest land alloted to each Gujjar family, in J&K and Himachal Pradesh where Gujars falls in ST catagory and are entitled to get 10 acres of land constitutionally. Nomad Muslim Gujjars of Uttarakhand should also be included in ST catagory and should be alloted 10 acres of land per family as per the law of the land.
2. The second issue is to get all the Gujjar monuments protected and also the names should be restored to pre-Mughal period like:
1. Jaipur should be named as Amber, named after godess Amba. Amber was a fort ruled by Minas on behalf of their Gujjar Pratihar overlords. Jaipur was renamed during Mughal period. This issue can provide a political hotbed for the unity of Gujjar Meena unity which were exploited by creating divisions by policticians to create the divide and reap the harvest thereafter. Historically, Meenas remained loyal to Gujjar and did not betray trust even in the worst of times i,e,. during slavery period of the country when Gujjars were impoverished to the extent that one sect of their family priests ( Nagara Brahmins) were even converted to Shudras by Mughals. These Nagara Brahmins are living as a separate caste today around Kota region.
2. Udai Pur should be named as Nagda, the capital of Nagar Gujjars before the invasion of Babar. However, in case it is named after the last Nagara Gujjar ruler Udai Singh Nagari, it may retain its name in the memory of the great warrior who sacrificed his life for protecting the country against the invasion of Mughals. However it should be clarified specifically in History that it is not named so after Gujjar Warrior Udai Singh Nagari, and not after Udai Singh , the son of Rana Sanga, who took refuge in this territory ruled by Gujjar , after volantarily giving the keys of Chittor fort to Shershah Suri. Later, during Mughal period the descendents of Rana Sanga were given control of Nadga territories ruled by Gujjars but only after establishing one sided relationship with Akbar.
3. Jodhpur should be named as Kuchanan fort, which was the fort under control of Gujjar Pratihar themselves. Joghpur was renamed during Mughal period.
4. Ahmedabad should be named as Karnavati, named after the Gujjar Solanki ruler Karna Deva.
Changes of these names not only restore the Gujjar monuments in Rajasthan but also will get rid of the names given to some places during the slavery period of the country.

javed rahi ,a MUSLIM GUJJAR has done pioneering work for the preservation and propagation of the Gujjar Culture in jammu and kashmir,He has been the recipient of a number of National awards, including a National Fellowship from Union Ministry of Tourism and Culture, New Delhi, in 2000 for his outstanding contributions in the field of Tribal and Nomadic Research.
He has also worked as convenor of Gojri Language in the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (BOSE), under Ministry of Education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir and has introduced Gojri into the school curriculum up to 12th standard.
gujri language is compulsory for all students of J/K.

Now time has come to raise our voice on different platforms (including government, non govt. public forum) regarding our history and world class architectures include buildings, Forts, sculptures , Temples, Coins and other Arts built by Gujjar-Pratihara kings
We have still something in our hand related to our glorious past.
This can be bright present and future of Great Gurjar Dynasty.

As Gujjars having a strong loyality blood and their unique cultural secular inheritance is what the militants are afraid of and it makes militants dislike.Local police used Gujjars boys at a salary of 1500.its been a very risky to stand against militants both local and pakistan based just for a small throwaway money,there family are the prime target of millitants,even government failed to provide compensation,many of the families still waiting since 2004 for compensation of 12 Gujjars killed by militants, Second problem they faced -The Two big-scale State Government units — Himalayan wool combing unit and Bemina processing wool unit — were closed in 1998. The State Government used to buy raw material from the gujjars at Rs.70 a kg. With few private players in the State's wool industry, the community has been forced to sell the raw material at throwaway prices to buyers from Punjab. Rajpoot are spreading more misinformation by stealing our history and presenting it as theirs. Even in international media like Discovery chanel And History chanel
,Rajpoot are shown as " Indian Warriors Called Kshatriya" ,such a blesphemy .Wikipedia has been now sabotaged for this propaganda and they are presenting themselves as only vedic dynasty and they have locked the wiki articles on gurjars after posting their delibrate conspired theoreical crap such as Gurjar came from cental asia and are foreigners ;that is, they are smacking their history on us. Its confirmed that they are of scythian stock from central asia who came here after being disposed by arabs and mongols .Now they are also claiming that Harsh Vardhan (Harshan=Harsana) was their king by posting some idiotic mismatch of criss-crossed confusion and fabrication .They also deleted names of great gurjar personalities from list in gurjar articles and instead added them in their list as rajput .Its they who have been waging their tails like pet dogs for mughals for 400 years and then for british until independence .All they did up to this time was to laze off in alcohal and women and now they show more proof of their dirty mentality by stealing our history by bribing britisher(big shitter) historians and Indian historians .They say they are "real king who have saved india from days ancient" ,what were they doing when Nadir shah looted delhi and massacred 200000+ innocent civillians .And when the british came, instead of fighting them ,they welcomed them and entertained them .British have been saying that rajpoots were their puppets all the while and they helped 20000 british occupy a land of 20 times more population by assisting them in battles against Indian kings.Now after british have gone they are againg decieving the Indian nation by bribing the historians to put them in good light and show them as patriots while most of them are traitors like Jai Chand .
Gurjar Vansh is the confedration of all the various real and true vedic kshatriya clans of solar and lunar lineages and their branches from the end of mahabharat times, this only explains their having more than 1200 clans and population spread accross all the northern sub continent progenated from 5000+ years ;not like rajpoots who barely have 36 clans so far devepod only in 700 years more or less;
and they say in their fabricated versions of puranas that they arose to annihilate buddhism and save brahmins ( they seem to have forgot that Harsh was buddhist) . Which kshatriya will annihilate one Indian religion for another Indian religion ? here they seem more like arabs than kshatriya. All they did was to betray their kings to foreign invaders in course of thousand years and grab their kingdoms and afterwards FORGE fictious vanshavali/lineage histories to legtimize their claims . Its they who betrayed us to mughals and to british ;nobody else.They say they're Rama descendents ; where were they when the historians were denouncing Kusha(Shri Rama Chandra'son) descendents i.e. Kushans as some non aryan tribes from central asia.

All proud gurjars ,...take action against plagiarism of Gurjar history by rajpoots, earnestly and immediatly without further ado and not let this insult happen anymore what so ever at all.
