2. Baishla and Bainsla are same and listed there.

Gorsi clan was the 1st Real Royal blood when arians came to sub continent.
Gorsies ruled  known subcontinent 400 hundred years. They were defeated by
muslim invaders but never bow down. Due to Sufia karam invitations they accepted Islam.
 But again, it is very common in our area that
Gorsi is The Real Royal Blood and Awwal Gotra.
They are great warriors, tall, tough and always leaders of their
of their communities and always big time landlords.

Since around 2nd century BC there was a tradition famous (or saying) in Punjab (Pak)

" Dhai ghara Gujran ke ek chechi, ek Gorsi te adha Barkat."

That means in that area (where Gujjars were concentrated densely) there were only two gotras among Gurjars: Chechi and gorsi, while Barkat being born from an outcast woman was considered half gotra.

BTW, If we go by all researches and traditions known till date, We Gujjars have these gotras as top 5:

No.1 Chechi or chainchi or Naikade
No.2 Gorsi or Godarope or Ghuraiya
No.3 Kasana or Kushana
No.4 Khatana
No.5 Nagde or Nagar or Nangdi
Then comes Mavais, Parmars, Tomars, Chauhans, Lohmors etc etc

I dont want to initiate any kind of arguement over the gotra supremacy but these gotra have a historical importance and have been considered high, till today, by people having knowledge of Gujjars gotras.

But we can start a debate over :
"Which is the largest Gurjar Gotra?"

No she was not. In fact there were more than one Jodhabai in the history of the Indian subcontinent. I hope you understand that every girl who hailed from Jodhpur was called Jodha bai.

Gorsi is distorted form of Ghor-Sahis, the rulers of Ghor region of present day Afghanistan under the Empire of great Kushans. There are definite historical evidences available that after the great Kushans or Kasanas the leadership of Gujjars was certainly transferred in to the hands of Ghor-shais or Gorsis, which happened sometime around 7th.- 8th. century.

Ashok harsana sir,,,,have you any information about my gotra origin,,,my gotra is daharwal or dhharwal...we have 3 villages in saharanpur district...ashrakhedi,malakpur and padam nagli....my tauji told me that we have four gotra in our khap dhharwal,chaharwal,motiye and mundel.....and our ancestors came from rajasthan due to forcibly convertation of hindu into muslim.....but till now i m unable to find our gotra any where...kindly help me....
