Hi Friends

This is Vijay Raj, I hope someone of you must remember me. I am not here to spread any hatred against Gujjars. Now, I have good relationship with Ashok Harsana. He is a great guy and intelligent person. All you guys should be thankful to him for the phenomenal job he is doing for your community. Now let us talk something about Gujjar reservation. Everybody knows that now Gujjars are fighting for ST reservation.

Please note that this whole struggle can make or break Gujjars identity. If Gujjars get this reservation they will prove to other communities that they are not just cattle gazers. They are great fighters and warriors and also have political hold. Most of you talk about Gujjar history and their bravery. Dear friends this is the time to rewrite your history by getting ST status. If gujjars get ST status, people will see Gujjars from a different perspective and their opinion about Gujjars will change. People and political parties will start taking you seriously.

I hope some of you remember that I mentioned in my earlier posts that Gujjars live below poverty line and needs a ST reservation. Most of you guys did not agree with me and started abusing me and now after 3 months you guys yourself are fighting for reservation.

Eventually the whole struggle is stopped now and Gujjars have compromised. This stunt for getting reports in 3 months is nothing more than nuts. The truth is Meena’s were able to put more pressure on Rajasthan and Central govt than whole of the Gujjar community from rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana and western UP. Even Supreme Court has called it a big shame. The end result is zero and now police have started registering cases against Gujjar leaders. Kirori Lal has gone underground and gujjars leader are divided. Whole nation now know that Gujjar is a poor community which is equivalent to ST. To be honest you guys screwed up big time. With this agitation you guys did not get anything. SC has called it a National shame, cases are booked against your leaders and whole nation sees you as ST and on top of this you are not granted ST status and will never get it.

Compare yourself with JATS. When JATS decided to get OBC status they got it. This is the difference. All political parties knows Jat power. Jats are in a situation in Punjab, Haryana, Rajsthan and Delhi to make or break the govt. However, Gujjars are not in enough numbers in any state to make or break govt. Jats have strong hold in administration and gujjars do not have it. In fact the reason Meena’s are powerful in Rajasthan because they also have strong political and administrative presence.

Some people would not like what I have written however now it is the reality written in every news paper and even gujjars have accepted that Jats are in better shape than Gujjars. Since govt have included Jats in OBC, gujjars are deprived in most of the govt jobs.

I request you guys to stop discussing history and think about your present, or else there will be no one except you to will talk and listen about your history

There is No comparision between Jats and Gujars of Rajatshan, neither in numbers (jats 14% gujars 4%) nor in social status.. Jats has achieved a better place in Rajasthan because of their level of education and they were into the mainstream since last 200 years while Gujars have joined the mainstream just 50 years back............... Therefore "DO NOT COMPARE NOW"

Though I dont agree 100% to what u have written..But u have raised a few very gud questions over here....

Guys Even I am against Reservation.......... We dont need that..
Jats are 14% in Rajasthan clearly in a position to challege Rajpoots and effect the Govt's decision.

On the other hand, it is true that Meenas are in better shape than Gujjars because of their ST status (25 out of their 31 MLAs come from ST reserved seats) and population as well .. But Its not right for us to take the help of reservation...We are the Royal Race and and we should not compare ourselves to meenas and other Aadivasi tribes.

Good to hear from you. First of all I aplogize to you and all Gujjars for using screwed up word in my post. I am extremely sorry.

I apprecaite that you understood what I was trying to tell. First I feel Gujjars should'nt have started this ST issue. However if now they have started it they should not compromise on it. Because if you guys compromise right now it will have adverse implications on Gujjars reputation. Nobody will take Gujjars seriously. After Supreme court comments whole nation is talking bad things about gujjars. It is Gujjars responsibilty to change this mindset of people about you because you guys yourself have started this agitation.

Everybody knows that Rajasthan Govt is biased about Meenas and been intentionally booking cases against Gujjars leaders. Gujjars are running and vacating their villages. That is not good. I agree that meenas are big in numbers in Rajasthan than gujjars but they are less than Gujjars in the country. Than why Meenas are getting favour from central and state govt. The reason is simple, meenas are big in administration jobs, more organized and united than gujjars and have good and honest political leaders.

I did not give Jats eg to spread hatred between communities. I have used Jats eg to motivate Gujjars. I hope you know Jats have extended their support to gujjars in Western UP. I feel if Jats of Rajasthan comes in support of Gujars than Gujjars will get the ST status. As Jats are the largest and the most powerful community in Rajasthan.

You forgot one more thing JATON se polite hoone ki umeed karna bhi akalmandi nahin hai.

Ashok I once again conratulate you for the phenomenal job you are doing for gujjars.

As i read the discussion of vijay and ashok,I am totally agree with ashok,we really need not to compare with other communities,Our reputation can never go down,Now the time comes when people take gujjars seriously,I am also against the reservation,may be we are in better place,we have better opportunities,may be we need not the reservation,but somewhere someplace,our friends need the reservation!!!!!!!!!,for them,i m always with them,our whole community is with them,Anything for them,Nation shame is not because of Gujjars,Nation shame is because of govt,Is govt is only for meena's,because they have maximum strength of MLA's?
that is not shameful??We really need not that kind of govt at least,Now the time will change!!!!!

Sometimes Supreme Court has to act to issue some statements ignoring the ground realities. These are made in overall interest of the Nation.

This statement is made in haste since not even a lowest court, leave aside Supreme Court in India are supposed to issue orders before listening the verdict of both sides of the people. Because of this staement the police is targetting the innocent Gujjars all over the places where they protested for the killing of innocent people.

Here in Rajasthan the Police killed innocent people who protesting peacefully and it is a shame for the entire nation that even after 60 years of independence only Gujjars, the community to which the innocent people belonged came to roads to protests and others just ignored. These voilent protest in some of other states was more against the killing of innocent people by the police.

In 1857 Hundred of the Gujjars were targeted and hanged and stories were written in similar fashion and the "First war of Independence" of India was given the name of "1857 Gadar" in similar fashion by the Britishers and the some Lalas of Chandni Chowk who were serving them. Now in independent India these are really serious issues.

But the History can not be suppressed. Even today you can find the "Namak Haram ki Haveli" in Chandni Chowk which rarely mentioned in history. In a similar fashion, the real fighters, the Gujjars who had destroyed the "Metcalfe House" the centre of British Power and captured Delhi that time, are rarely mentioned in the history of the "First War of Independence".

Hello All,

As I can smell from Jat Bhai's message he is burnt from GURJAR agitation.

Gurjar agitation was the highest in intensity compared to any other till now even during Mundal commissions days(where most of cast population were present).

This agitation has showen "GURJAR EKTA", and first time after independent INDIA started considering GURJAR seriously.
Going forward I appeal to every CAST to come forward against or favour reservations as GURJAR did compromised their lives fought till GOVERMENT had taken significant actions.
But I know even JATS or RAJPOOTS or any community they are more in population and politically strong they can not come together and sacrifice their lives.
That is why I say "VEER GURJAR".
Come on guys it was inspirational and patriotic and an example for every community to come forward against stupid policies.
Meena students who does not deserve any govt posts are getting into IAS, DOCTORS and other higher authorities which is NATIONAL SHAME. Thats the major reason INDIA is behind, lets change these stupid rules by coming up from every part of INDIA.

Hello Rajneesh brother,

I Do not expect any community brother to write anything against Jats or any other catse.

Vijay Raj might had been a bigtime critisizer of Gujjars, But now he has changed a lot. You could also see That all Jats raised their voice in support of Gujjars last days, being the only community at large which did that for us, we should be thankful to them.

Rajputs and Brahmin Politics in India is alive until Jats and Gujars are united. Once they realise their joint power, No one in India can think of even facing them.

So U r requested not to use any bad words against the community which is most closely related to us since ancient times.

Its pleasant surprise to find Vijay and Ashok talking friendly. Congratulations to both of them. Wheather we will get reservation or not, but Gujjars have developed good will for Jats for the support that have been extended by the Jats for the Gujjar cause. I think in future when ever such support is needed by one community the other should come forward to support the other morally, if not otherwise.
By the way, we would like to know how Vijay and Ashok's hostality turned into friendship?

Good to see the response and aggression in your words. I really like that kind of stuff. First of all you misunderstood me. I am not jealous of Gujjars nor burnt with Gujjar agitation. I am proud to be a Jat and wants Gujjars to do well in every field.

I was trying to explain in my post that Gujjars should’nt have started ST issue but now if Gujjars have started this agitation than they should fight for it till the end. This not about ST status, it is about Gujjars image, survival and how they want people to look at them. Do Gujjars want people to look at them as poor people and cattle gazers who want ST status or they want people to see them as major and powerful player in Indian society.

Please note that if Gujjars fail to achieve ST status than people will forget it like any other agitation and Gujjars will never be respected and taken seriously. I will be personally very disappointed. Gujjars have won the battle by raising this issue but not the war. God bless the soul of people who have given their life. ST issue is not about Gujjars ekta, nobody has ever said anything negative about Gujjars Ekta. It is about Gujjars capability to achieve something. You might be aware of the consiquences Gujjars and gujjars leaders are facing. Police is after them, Meenas are after them and Gujjars are running and vacating their villages in Rajasthan. If you call it an achievement than please feel free to be proud about it. People who started it are responsible for the poor gujjars who are being killed by police or by meenas. What about the Gujjars who are vacating their villages and homes, who will take responsibility for them.

It will be hard for Gujjars to get ST status because Meenas will fight for it till the end. Everybody knows it is open war between Gujjars and Meenas. The community who is determined and have strategy and is much stronger financially, politically and administratively will win this war.

Please note that Jats had a similar situation in Rajasthan fighting against Rajputs as Rajputs did not wanted Jats in OBC. After Jats came in OBC, they are getting the major chunck of Govt jobs. Whole Rajasthan feels that if it keeps going on very soon Rajasthan name will be a Jatisthan. Jats got OBC because they were united, determined had strategy and ready to die for it. Jat Mahasabha issued a fatwa against congress govt and asked all Jats to support BJP. That’s how BJP won election in Rajasthan. Jats also demanded Jat CM from Rajasthan and BJP made Vasundhra Raje because she is married to Jat Raja of Dholpur. Once Jats came in OBC Gujjars started feeling deprived and they started demanding ST status.

Jats of Western UP have already declared their support to Gujjars. If Jats of Rajasthan comes in support for Gujjars than there will be no one who stop Gujjars.

The only problem what I have seen with most of Gujjars is that they do not appreciate anything about Jats, even though Jats always support Gujjars. From the days of Ch Charan Singh Jats consider Gujjars as younger brothers. Even on Jats website Jats are supporting Gujjars, than why Gujjars always spit venom against Jats. I do not understand.

I think Gujjars should appreciate the success of Jats and take inspiration to make themselves successful. All Jats will come in support for Gujjars if Gujjars change their attitude of hatred against Jats. The only way you can win this war is by bring other communities in your support and Jats is the one of the largest community in North India and largest in Rajasthan.

I apologize if I have been impolite and disrespectful. To be honest I am very disappointed with your attitude against Jats. and more than that with the deaths of Gujjars in Rajasthan.
