Share your views here regarding the burning issue of Gujjar agitation in Rajasthan under the leadership of Colonal Kirori Singh Baisnla.
In my opinion the useless Vasundhra Govt is ignoring and killing innocent Gujjars brutally just to secure her meena vote Bank.
Colonal's decision to talk to the govt. at an early stage will again yield no result like last year.
Last year Colonal had to back off jus because of the Meena pressure (openly supported by the Govt) was increasing day by day and all routes of supplies to Gujjars were cut by Meenas and Govt. This later resulted in the defeat of Gujjar agitation. This year this should not happen and we all should move forward and do something for our community right now.
I request you to write mails to all newspapers and magazines and write posts to all the famous blogs to highlight the issue and support the gujjars in any possible way.
Best Regards
Ashok Harsana

Mazhar Bhai, Iss bar Col Baisla pakki planning ke saath fight pe aaye hain. Unhone last time se sabak liya aur iss baar poori naakebandi ke saath morche pe baithe hain. Aas paas sirf gujjaro ke gaon hai aur kisi non gujjar ki entry bhi band hai. Jagah jagah gujjaro ne nakabandi ki hui hai. Jo log dharne pe baiteh hain uske paas 20,000 logo ke liye 1 maheene ki food supplies already aas pas ke villages me stord hain. JO galati last time hui thi woh Iss baar nahi hogi. Piichhli baar Vasundhra ne Gujjaro ko convince karne ke liye apni daughter in law Rajkumari Niharika Singh (daughter of Gujjar raja Ranjeet Singh Judeo, State Samthar) ko use kiya tha. Iss baar gujjaro ne aje se clear keha hai ki pehle ST status uske baad talks. Iss baar saare political halko me bahut jyada garmi hai, Congress head Sonia Gandhi aur BJP head Advani bhi, personaly is mudde pe media se baat kar rahe hain. Vasundhra ka Political careere toh 100% khatam. Last time bhi gujjar isliye haare kyunki unki koi taiyyari nahi thi. Mazhar bhai agar Gujjar taiyyari ke saath lade toh issi Rajatshan ke area me unhone 16th century me Babar ko bhi mar ke bhaga diya tha , iss vasundhra ki toh bisat kya hai>>>>> Regards Ashok Harsana gurjar.co.nr

Gujjars (or Gurjars) ruled india during 1st AD to 4th AD as Kushans, 7th to 10th AD as Gurjar-Pratihars and 10th to 12th AD as Solankis. They always proved to be a tough enemy to the arabics and other invaders. Due to their intenal conflicts Mohd Ghori managed to conquer their territorries along with the other parts of north India. The Gurjars had to leave their kingdoms and were migrated to different places. A few petty kings who surrendered before Ghori were spared and allowed to rule. These Rulers were never called Gurjars, due to their impure bloodlines, they were given a new name. But after Gurjars there was no Hindu King to be called a Samrat (King of Kngs) of India. After the Arabics, Afghans & Turks, the subcontinent came under the Moghal Empire and these petty kings had to bow before the Moghals. These petty kings which now were known as a caste, continued to serve the invaders like they did in the past. They again emerged as Kings, with the help fo their Moghal overlords whom they gave their daughters in marriage. Later in the course of time these slaves became prosperous and powerful, they reached at higher position in the society. And keeping in knowledge that the real rulers (Gurjars) were not in a situation to write history for themselves, these petty kings, somehow, managed to connect their pedigree to the Antique kshatriyas. On the other hand, the first Moghal "Babar" wrote in his memoirs (BabarNama) about Gurjars as a very barve and powerful community which troubled him most. He later wrote that "I burnt 300 of the Gujjar villages to ashes becasue of their opposition. The Patriots (gurjars) kept migrating from their land and proerpties due to the moghals' envy. And the traitors continued to rule and kept earning name and fame. In the era of british India these traitors again proved early birds to get higher posts. (not becasue of their fighting skills but becasue of their flattering skills) and were awarded with army regiments and battallions in their names. They even betrayed their previous overlords (Moghals) when they realised the raising power of Britishers (East India Company) in around 1725 AD. Due to their loyality to Britishers, They were praised as royal clans and colonial historians wrote history according to these Traitors. The Real Rulers of India (Gurjars) were again in the mood to face the Invaders (britishers this time)a nd in 1823, 1857 and 1890 they gave a very very tough resistance to the britishers. This time they were awarded as Criminal Tribe (1904). They were deprived of their jobs, businesses, Lands and properties. A kind of Gujjar killing campaign was started by the Britishers. When these Patriots were dying for their motherland, the traitors (as British Army) were cruelly killed their families and earned prizes, higher posts and higher social status for themselves. By 1947 gujjars were totally exhausted and were almost thrown out of mainstream society by the Britishers. Pt. Nehru, the first Indian PM called them as the real marytrs in his book "Discovery of India". So this is the reason why Gujjars are now asking for reservation and they rightly deserve so. I think Col. Bainsla should include others communities as well who were targeted during slavery period the country i,e, Mughal period and British period. In the present situation the BJP is thinking to divide all these people like Jats. Gujjars and Meenas. The reservation to Jat in OBC without making the proviosion of increasing the appropriate quota in OBC catagory was a pre planed.
This is fact that during slavery period some traitors, including majority of their community rose to prominent position and now they want to retain that position by follwing the rules of their earlier masters, the Britishers to divide and rule on religion basis and caste basis. Had that not been the situation the Vasundhjara Raje, being from a cotton weaving community should have been asking for reservation and not the descendents of Shivaji Bhainsla and Pratap Rao Gujar who founded the Maratha Empire.
More appropriately these communities should not ask for reservation for themselves but should ask to apply in the methods of employment and taxation applicable in Mughal and British period, in a reverse manner, to keep away these so called forward castes from employment and also keep them in higher bracket of taxes. That means the Gujjars, Meenas and Jats and others group should pay less taxes and get preference in employment compared to the people and who enjoyed employment and tax benefits during the period of slavery.
Records shows that during Mughal period, according to Dr. Shail Mayaram, Professor and Senior Fellow, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), the people were subjected to a differential system of revenue assessment based on their community. In eastern Rajasthan, Brahmins paid 12 %, Rajputs 33% and others like Gujars, Meenas, jats up to 76% of the produce.
In that manner the reservation can be completely removed from the system. The slavery period of the counry was about 500 years and if this system becomes applicable only for 50 years you will see the real colours of these people fighting for rservation for themselves.

We find no difference among Mughal rule and British rule and the present vasundhara raje's BJP Government in Rajasthan as far as treatment to Gujjars are concerned.
The way so many Gujjars are killed by the BJP Goverment in Rajasthan and the goverment lied that the Gujjars killed themselves shows that the whole country need a social change at the larger level. The legecy of Mughals and Britishers shpoud stop by putting the descendents of the earstwhile servants ( The so called forward castes) of Mughals and Britishers to pay higher government taxes and deprive then of jobs for atleast a period of 50 years which their forefathers enjoyed for being traitors to the popultaion of the whole country.
There are some examples how the Gujjars were killed by Mughals and Britishers to tame them and terrorise others and BJP Government in Rajasthan is no different.
During the Muslim invasions and later by the Britishers it had become a practice to kill Gujjars, to terrorise other populations of India, since it was considered best by them to beat the Imperials first and as a result others will start behaving obediently.
Here is one example how Babar terrorised the local populace of India by killing Gujjars. He captured so many Mandars ( mainly children and woman) and taken to Kabul and that is the reason many of the Mandars in Pakistan does not even know that they have Gujjar Pratihars Imperial Heritage since no male adult was left alive.
"It was said that when in the cold season of 1528-9 , the Mandahars (Also written as Mandar is a celebrated gotra of Gujjars who are said to be the direct descendent of Gujjar Pratihars of Mandwar or Mandor and you may find millions of Gujjar Mandahars in and around Delhi) of the area of north of Delhi plundered villages and then defeated Babur’s forces to the number of 3000 men, a force of consisting of 4000 of cavalry and several elephants was sent against them, their settlement was razed to the ground. According to Ahmad Yadgar “ the male Mandars were half buried in the ground and were shot to death to arrows.Abul Fazl quoted as a point about which both sound jurists and innovators are agreed , the opinion that the binding, killing or striking (of) the haughty and the chastising (of) the stiff necked are the part of struggle for empire."
Please the Page 10 of “Naukar, Rajput & Sepoy” The ethno-history of the Military Labour Market in Hindustan, 1450-1850 by Dirk H.A. Koeff University of Leiden for further reading.
The Britishers also terrorised the Indian but used differeny methods.
See the fact recorded by Mr.H.C. Williams in the Gazetteer of Dehra Dun of 1890 that how the britishers targeted Gujjars to tell others to bahave.
During the erstwhile British regime. During the middle of the 19th century a Gujjar called Kalua of , whose had terrorised the British forces for years by his constant attacks upon them. He did not trouble the local Indians but was a constant threat to the British forces. Such was the fear the British had of him that when finally he was captured his head was severed and stuck on a pole outside the jail for a month as an abject lesson to the local population not to oppose their 'masters'. This was before the first war of independence or as the Britishers preferred to call it 'the sepoy mutiny'. As a matter of fact Kalua was one of the first freedom fighters of the country.
Note: Real name Kalyan Singh, one of the General of Gujjar Parmar kingdom of Landhora. The Legend Yog Raj Singh was his ancestor who chased Amir Taimur in 1398, up to Ambala and did not allow him to loot this part of the country.
