यही वजह है कि कैराना, बागपत, बिजनौर, मुजफ्फरनगर और अमरोहा लोकसभा सीटों से गुर्जर उम्मीदवार मैदान में हैं। यह राष्ट्रीय लोक दल (रालोद), समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा), बहुजन समाज पार्टी (बसपा) और भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) से ताल्लुक रखते हैं। कैराना सीट से बात शुरू करें। यहां से सभी प्रमुख पांच उम्मीदवार गुर्जर हैं।

रालोद के टिकट पर लड़ रहे करतार भड़ाना फरीदाबाद से हैं और माउंट कैलाश ब्रांड नाम के बोतलबंद पानी की कंपनी के मालिक हैं। इनका ट्रांसपोर्ट का भी कारोबार है। भाटी माइंस में उनका खनन का कारोबार भी था। वह कहते हैं कि वह समाज सेवा के लिए राजनीति कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा, ‘पिछले जन्म का कुछ कर्ज होगा जिसे मैं कैराना में आकर उतार रहा हूं।’ वह इस समय मुजफ्फनगर की खतौली सीट से रालोद के विधायक भी हैं।

कैराना सीट से भाजपा उम्मीदवार हुकुम सिंह भी गुर्जर हैं और ‘आप’ के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ रहे सुनील कसाना भी गुर्जर हैं। कसाना का दिल्ली में बिल्डर कारोबार है। इसी सीट पर सपा ने मुसलमान गुर्जर नाहिद हसन और बसपा ने कुंवर हसन को उतारा है। वहीं बिजनौर सीट से बसपा के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़ रहे मलूक नागर डेयरी उद्योग चलाते हैं।

उनको पैसे के मामले में काफी मजबूत माना जा रहा है। रालोद की उम्मीदवार अभिनेत्री जया प्रदा और भाजपा के भारतेंदु को वह कड़ी टक्कर दे रहे हैं, जबकि यहां गुर्जर वोट करीब एक लाख ही हैं। हालांकि यहां से राणा सरिया के नाम से स्टील उद्योग चलाने वाले शाहनवाज राणा सपा के टिकट पर मैदान में हैं। राणा विधान सभा चुनाव में रालोद के टिकट पर बिजनौर से चुनाव लड़े थे।

बागपत से अजित सिंह के सामने बसपा टिकट पर चुनाव लड़े प्रशांत चौधरी गुर्जर हैं और उनका कंस्ट्रशन का बिजनेस है। प्रशांत चौधरी के बारे में खेकड़ा के दयानंद धामा कहते हैं कि कम गुर्जर वोटों के बावजूद उनकी पत्नी हेमलता बागपत से रालोद प्रत्याशी कोकब हमीद को हराकर बसपा के टिकट पर विधायक बनी हैं।
सबसे अधिक संपत्ति वाले तंवर भी मैदान में

This is a response to a absolutely wrong question posed by Jatrana a Jat. The two communities of Jats and Gujjars are not comparable in this respect due to the following reasons.

Mr. Kanwar Singh Tanwar is incomparable to Mr. KP Singh of DLF. Mr. Kanwar Singh Tanwar a Gujjar, belong to a a celebraeted Gujjar village of Delhi, where the complete male population of more than 12 years of age, of entire village, were wiped out by hanging/killing by the British regime after 1857, the first war of independence. Mr. KP Singh is an ex-army officer of British army and belonged to Bulandshar of UP where as per the British records most of the Gujjar properties were confiscated and given to Jats. The Gujjars were hanged/burnt alive and Jats were joining the British army/Police in large numbers from that area. The Gujjars were categorized as Criminal tribe and their history was manipulated and given to Rajputs. Similarly the complete caste of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh was declared as criminal tribe and the Sansi history was given to Jats in most of the British records.

Muzaffar Nagar Gazetter informs us that before 1857 Gujjars and Saiyyads were the biggest land holders in western UP, western UP was called Gujerat since three independent states of Parikshat Garh, Dadri and Landhora were found by Gujjars at the cost of the later Mughals. However, as per Muzaffar Nagar Gazetteer, post 1857, most the Gujjar forts were dismantled, they wee hanged/burnt alive and most their properties were confiscated and give to Banias.

Hence this question should be asked by Jatrana from the Banias since both Jats and Banias were the beneficiaries of the first war of Independence and not from the Gujjars suffered. The Rise of Kanwar Singh and other Gujjars whose families and relatives sacrificed their lives and properties in 1857, can not be compared with the people who were benefited out of of the first war of Independence.

Ponty Chaddha is not a Jat and KP Singh and India Bulls made most of their money in Gurgaon during the period Haryana was ruled by Jat Chief Ministers. Similarly Adani made his money in Gujerat (and not in Haryana) during the period his caste-mate Modi ( Modi is a Tellika Bania) was ruling there and KP Singh for that reason could not have made his money in Gujerat. Similary Adani could not have money his money in Haryana, the way KP Singh of DLF had made it.

Why The Gujjars don't have a regiment in India

All the Arab records of medieval period state that the Gurjjar Emperor of Al-Hind had the finest of the cavalry having horses, camels and elephants. The numbers of the army is mentioned to be as the 4 armies placed in each of direction, each having 7 lakhs to 9 lakhs of warriors thus numbering in total to about 35-36 Lakhs. The part of Gurjjar Empire in those included the present India, Pakistan and the Afghanistan.
Obviously the question arises that why the Gurjjars don’t even have a regiment in their name in India. That is because all the regiments in the names of castes are made during slavery period of our country and the Gurjjars being the fiercely independent did not either join the alien rulers or the alien rulers were afraid of Gurjjars as is reflected of many records.
This is a poem of Gojri language of 13th- -14th. Century:-

एकणि वँनि वसँतडा,एवडा अँतर काइ।
सीह कवड्डी ना लहै,गैवर लख्खि बिकाइ।।
गैवर गळै गळथीयौ,जहँ खंचै तहँ जाइ।
सीह गळथ्थणा जे सहै, तो दह लख्ख बिकाइ।।

Translation: Elephants and Lions live in the same jungle but the price of a lion is not even a Kodi (Kori was the cheapest Indian coin) whereas the elephant sells for a lakh. However if the lion can bear a chain in his neck like the elephant does to obey the command of his master, the price of the lion would be ten times more than the elephant.
Since the Lions can not be domesticated similarly the alien rulers were unable or were afraid of Gujjars who did not joim them as Military labourers who were hired to kill their own people.

Some youngsters like Kamal Ram from the community joined the British army at a time when even Mahatma Gandhi was canvassing and encouraging the Indian youths to join the British army on a promise by the British regime that they would leave India free after the Word war-II. Kamal Ram, a teenager of a Bayana village of Rajasthan joined the British army during that period won the most admired Victoria Cross and that too without having any formal training under the British army.
