i hve heared ur village name keorak.i think it is a big village of gujjars in that area.my friend ravi chouhan told me that keorak is very dangerous village.my friend ravi belongs to enchla village in karnal.he is a chouhan(kalsyan) by subcast

Our tehsil shakargarh is known as gujjar tehsil. because gujjars are 90 percent of its population. gujjars are dominate in the local polictics. in our distt. most members of parliament and distt. council are gujjars. one of them Ch. tariq anees is federal minister. so we r enjoying in this region as gujjar nation.
Mr. Ashok has done great job for the gurjar nation but it is very sad that no single member of the forum except i online since yesterday. i request to every member please online for some time every day.
i sent an email to mr. kapil khatan but he did not reply. anil chaudhry, mr. beetan and other are humbly request that they should be on line and have contact with each other so that we know more about our great gujjar nation.

Hi Ashok,
The Dhaliya is branch of Chaprana Gotra. I think that Chaprana is not a Gotra but were leaders of various Confederation of Gujjar Gotras and that is why they are called Khap- Ranas.
Similarly Kharis and Levas are not Gotras but were the title of the leaders of certain federations of Gujjars.
Dhan Singh Kotwal the Great Freedom fighter of 1857 was a Kotwal of Meerut who revolted against Britishers. Mangal Pandey was not even in town on the day of revolt and comlete movie made out on his life.
There are so many Gujjar gotras who claim brotherhood and avoid Gotras during marriages. To the best of my knowledge Hun and Bidhudi avoid the gotras. Chaprana and Dhaliya avoid the Gotras. Vikal and Boken should also be avoiding as is evident from the post of Manish.

now a days boken writes vikal as their sirnames i have a friend his name is harish vikal,he told me that vikal and boken are same
he is from mahavad village.same case as chaprana and dhaliyas.and you are right that hun and bidhuri avoid the gotras.my friend vineet hoon told me this.
