Tahir Bhai pls read your personal messages (regarding your last post).
Dear Tahir Bhai and Manoj Ji,
First things First, We are Gurjars and hence brothers by blood (All of us). No one needs to address the other in that way (sum1).
Now let me tell, Tahir bhai, There are more than 900 gotras and around 3000 offshoots in total. Virk are found in Jats and Gujjars to the best of my knowledge and there is no doubt about Ranas being Gujjars.
In my earlier findings I thought that Jats have around 500 clans, 1200 offshoots and 20% out of them coincide with that of Gujjars. But now its a matter of fact that as much as 80% Surnames are common in Jaats and Gujjars.
About Bhati or Bhattis Bhatis are known as Gujjars in India while Bhattis are Rajputs (in jaisalmer) and Bhatiyas or Bhatias are Punjabis by caste. Now pls understand Yadavs also have a clan named bhati and similarly Jats have a surname called Bhati. There is a separate Bhatia caste which is different from Jats, Rajputs, Yadavs, Punjabis and Gujjars. While we know very well that Bhatias are Gujjars in pakistan and Bhatis are jaats while Bhattis are Rajputs.
So would you like indulging in such a useless argument of Surnames and Gotras?
Gujjars are found everywhere in this subcontinent and most of them have adopted the local culture and language. In some cases they have adopted local surnames as well (we know most of the Gujjar surnames are derived after their place of origin or place where they ruled). So surnames do not tell the whole story.
In last it is our forum and we are free to discuss, whatever we want to, about the community. BUT Please take care.....
Best Regards
Ashok Harsana

Dear Ashok bhai, I am not going towards controversy with any gujjar brother. I did not say that mr. manoj is not gujjar and i also did not start the "word" sm1. this word was started from manoj's side. i just replied.Of course nobody have right to say anybody non gujjar to any gujjar. I gave my comments only on surname which is strange for me and millions of gujjars living in Pakistan. I did not mind the deletion of my posts. I am a broad minded person not an emotional one but on the question of my caste I am very careful. This forum is our house and we are like a family. I shall also share information about the history of gujjars because i have also some books about the golden history of gujjars. I shall try my best to reply some posts on the basis of authentic arguments and proofs.
with regards

Thank you very much Tahir Bhai for understanding. I am again thankful to you for your kind concern fr gujjar biradri.
I know a few people (who are not Gujjars) are writing on our forum and have been asking useless questions, but we are not supposed to ban them. We should answer the questions with logic and knowledge so that the people writing to this forum may know how great we are.
Thanks and Regards

Respected Brother AP singh Ji, I again request you to join the forum as a registered member and PM me your ID. I'd like you to be the staff member. Please share some duties. Thanks and Regards Ashok Harsana Dear Ashok, Thank you for the offer and I would like to keep supporting you from outside. My purpose is reach with the authentic information to all my Gujjar Brothers who are not aware of our Glorious History. Rana Ali Hasan Chauhan has done a wonder ful job but lot of information was not available at the time he wrote about Gujjar History. He did the mistake by not reading about Gujjar Khatana, Kasanas , Bokken, Chechi, Huns , otherwise many issues concerning to Gujjar History would have been resolved by now. Moreover China was not opened to outsiders earlier and many epigraphic evidences which were explored by Sir MA Stein revealing Gujjars footprints in that part of the world were not known. Second issue is about the Emperor Jai pal, his son Anand Pal and trilochan Pal. There are more than twenty epigraphic evidences including the records of Gujjar Adversaries, the Arabs, that he was great grand son of Mihir Bhoja Mahan.Third issue is about Harishchandra Brahmin and Balhara, title of Rashtrkutas, the adversaries of Gujjars and Friends of Arabs. Both of these harishchandra and Rashtrakutas were adversaries of Gujjars and probably taken the title of Pratihar and Valhara after defeating the Gujjars of Balhika region in collabaration with the Arab invaders. As is evident from many inscriptions that Gujjar Solankis like Siluk and Pulkesin were called Valla Mandala Palaka, i,e,. Vallika Raja means Balhara. At this point of time the command of Gujjars conferderation went in to able hands of Nagabhatta the Great and rest is history known to everybody.
