Jat Backward Caste reservation is going on in Kafurpur, Amroha Distt.
It is worth mentionimg that in UP Jat caste is demamding Backward Caste reservation in central govt jobs but in state govt jobs they are already a Backward caste
the agitation is being led by the Jat Yaspal Malik from Muzaffarnagar.
it will be interesting to see weather they get it or not
if they get BC status for central govt jobs than the castes which will be affected are GURJAR, Yadav, Kurmi, Lodh Rajput
also since 1990 when mandal commission came the Jat are loosing there status in western UP and the Jat influence has gone down rapidly.
Now the power is being shared by Gurjar, Jatav , Jat and Muslim and Yadav in west UP
Gurjar power is rising rapidly because of ---
1. money coming to the distt of Ghaziabad and Noida by increase in the value of land and real estate property dealing by Gurjar
2.some gurjar have started their own business - eg Meerut
3.Sugarcane prices have benefitted the Gurjar of Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut
4. Gurjar have taken to educatoion in a big way and a sense of pride in being Gurjar is being seen from Delhi to Saharanpur
5. Gurjar political importance has increased as many reserved seats have become general now
6.Gurjar have started doing service and not only dependent on agriculture.

नदीम, लखनऊ यूपी में जाट भले ही पिछड़े वर्ग की सूची में शामिल हों और अब केंद्रीय सेवाओं में पिछड़ा वर्ग के आधार पर आरक्षण की मांग को लेकर आंदोलन चला रखा हो, लेकिन प्रदेश सरकार की फाइलों में दर्ज राज्य पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग की नोटिंग के मुताबिक जाट पिछड़े नहीं हैं। आयोग ने यह नोटिंग रामप्रकाश गुप्तके मुख्यमंत्री रहते की थी। हालांकि सरकार ने आयोग की इस नोटिंग को नजरअंदाज करते हुए दो मार्च 2000 को जाटों को पिछड़ा वर्ग में शामिल करने के प्रस्ताव को सीधे कैबिनेट से मंजूरी दिला दी। जल्दबाजी की वजह : जाटों को पिछड़े वर्ग में शामिल करने का मुद्दा आयोग में वर्ष 1997 से लंबित था। नवंबर 1999 में रामप्रकाश गुप्त ने मुख्यमंत्री बनते ही एक जनसभा में जाटों को पिछड़ा वर्ग में शामिल करने की घोषणा कर दी। आनन-फानन में सरकार ने आयोग को पत्र भेजकर कहा कि इस मुद्दे पर कैबिनेट में प्रस्ताव ले जाने के लिए शीघ्र उसकी सिफारिश चाहिए। हालांकि आयोग ने इससे मना कर दिया। आयोग के समक्ष 1997 में यह प्रकरण विचारार्थ आया था। तब आयोग ने सरकार को लिखा था कि प्रथम दृष्टया जाट पिछड़े नहीं दिखते। अगर सरकार इस संबंध में आयोग का स्पष्ट मत चाहती ही है तो उसे आयोग को संसाधन उपलब्ध कराने होंगे ताकि आयोग विस्तृत सर्वे कराकर अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत कर सके। सरकार ने न आयोग को संसाधन दिए और न ही आयोग ने कोई सिफारिश सरकार को भेजी। आयोग का अधिकार : राज्य पिछड़ा वर्ग आयोग अधिनियम में आयोग को जो अधिकार दिए गए हैं, उसमें कहा गया है आयोग किसी वर्ग को पिछड़े वर्ग में शामिल करने के अनुरोध का परीक्षण करेगा। अनुसूची में किसी जाति को गलत तरीके से शामिल करने या न करने की सुनवाई करेगा। फिर सरकार को सलाह देगा। उधर, सरकार का कहना था कि उसे बिना आयोग की सिफारिश के किसी जाति को पिछड़ा वर्ग में शामिल करने या बाहर करने का अधिकार हासिल है।
In every state, Jats took the entry in OBC list in the same manner i.e. backdoor entry.........! In Rajasthan in spite of oposition by State Backward Commission, they were included in OBC after Atal Bibari Bajpai's election promise at Sikar rally. Same way in Delhi by Lodha Commission report....!At Haryana, the Gurnam Singh Commission has given in its report that they are having social status even below Scheduled Castes....! In recent report of Justice Rangnath Miahra Commission the inclusion of Jats as OBC has been criticised. Strangely the Jats were the front runners in opposing Mandal Commission Report by V P Singh and even the Raja of Bharatpur resigned from Loksabha against implementation of Mandal Commission Report by V P Singh Government.....!

Bro jats influence can never be down in western U.P .Jats have also emerged a lot in U.P. based N.C.R. especially Ghaziabad .Jat's poppulation is Ghaziabad is more than 3.5 lakh today .........
Yes it is true Gujjars have earned a lots of money in Noida but that too they spending in Bad habits .I have lived in Gr. noida for 2 years .They are not utilizing that money .......
Recently jats have stopped the Muradnagar nahar for reservation.Jats have lots of villages in Ghaziabad .........I have so many relatives here ...........
And no doubt Western U.P, will always be dominated by jaats only.................I also except that gujjars are also doing well in western up but you guys need to give more stress towards education & social development .
I have lots of gujjar friends in noida ,they belong to very good family .They too except that gujjars especially of noida ,are not on a right track ...they spend a lot on drinks & other wrong stuff .......but it's true.
This money they have on the behalf of their lands .they should invest this money properly........
Even u guys know that i am not speaking wrong ........bcz we should respect each & every community ......but i have seen a lot of haterdness especially towards jaats .........why i dont know?

where these jats in ghaziabad tell me?
where these Jat villages?not even a single Jat leader in ghaziabad.
i know you cant give Jat villages information in ghaziabad because there are only nearly 30 Jat villages but gujjar have more than 150 villages in ghaziabad its true.

i can give you full 150 gujjar villages list in ghaziabad and many gujjar leaders.
gujjar are more than 3 lacs in ghaziabad but Jat only 50 thousand very sad

start from modinagar ........abupur ,kazampur kheri ,Jalalabaad (having poppulation of 40000) ,manotha(Sehrawat village ),Duhai ,Dhindar ,many dagar villages near muradnagar ,ujjaida near muradnagar nahar.Yeh to vo hai jinke mujhe naam yaad hai
ab aa jao near to ghaziabad city .Mehrauli ,sadarpur ,rajpura(whole Raj nagar and Kavi nagar is on their land) ,Kaji pura ,Tikri Khurd,Chipiana ,jatwada (near old bus station ) ... and lot more
come to sahibabad ,sahibabad in itself is a tevotia village ,arthala .now come to loni road
pasonda ,nistholo ,bamtha ,nirthala and lot more whose names i dont remember .

dusre bijor mein gujjar mp hain aur 2th bhi gujjar hain aye samajh mein
tesre kairana mein gujjar mp hain aur 2th mein bhi gujjar hain
g.b nagar mein winner or runner up bhi gujjar hain
saharanpur to gujjar land hain gujjaro ki support sa hi jagdish jeeta
muradabad mein bhi muslim gujjar mp hain
