Congress (Indira Gandhi) was misusing Sh. Vikal against Ch. Charan Singh every time because in my view there was not any thick headed person other than a Gujar to get defeated every time with huge margin by Ch. Charan Singh. (Congress adopted the same tactics by giving ticket to Rama Pilot against Vasundhra Raje in Jhalawar Vidhan Sabha by - election when she was CM of Rajasthan and before that Sanjay Gurjar against her in Lok sabha election).
Indira Gandhi mis used Sh. Vikal to challenge Ch. Charan Singh in particular and Jats in general because Indira Gandhi had no choice other than Gujars who can challenge his arch rival and his main base i.e. Jats.
In my considered view it was Ch Charan Singh and his pro - farmer, pro- rural approach which resulted into Sh. Vikal as Dy. CM and not the other way round....! Ch Charan Singh was a great kisaan leader and he tried to make an alliance of Aheer (Yadav) +Jats + Gujar+ Rajpoot ( famous AJGAR combination) and thus challenged Brahmin dominated Congress Party.
Sh Vikal was wrong in joining Congress and in my opinion he some how played in the hands of Congress / Indira Gandhi to weak Kisaan Movement ...! If he had not parted ways with Ch Charan Singh the future of Gujar politics in West UP would have been different.
Pl note I say with conviction that Ch Charan Singh was first a Kisaan leader than any thing else. His vision and ability to bring people together particularly rural folk was tremendous. He rose to the level of CM of UP and Prime Minister as a Kisaan leader. He was truly a Kisaan leader for Jats, Gujars and Yadavs more than any Nagar , Badhana or Pilot....in present times!
The proposed caste based census will prove that Gujars are not more than 1 Crore which is the main reason of their limited political success apart from other factors and Jats are almost double in comparison to them in India....!

Gujjar Bhaiyo,
Let's accept that Gujjar population in India is not more than 3 Crore (including Muslim Gujjars).
Results of Caste based census are about to come out and the actual figure (the truth about the Gujjar population) is about to come out of closet.
But even if we are 1 crore or even less, do you guys think it matters a single bit? Lions are always less in numbers but they still rule the entire jungle. I can provide thousand examples where Gujjars are very less in numbers as compared to other castes but they dominate all others.
We Gujjars have recovered very rapidly in the last 10-15 years. This development was not achieved by many castes even after 65 years of independence. Lets not compare ourselves with Jats as they are marching much much forward. They joined the mainstream 200 years back and reaped all possible benefits from the contemporary Govt. (or Rulers). They are educated and (that's why) united therefore they are one of the most developed castes in our country.
Once the Gujjars are educated and united then I suppose there will be at least 20 Gujjar MPs and 100 MLAs all over India.
Lets expect the best for our community.

Hi to all my Gurjars
Do you really think that the census will show actual fact on which caste is more in population? No I don’t think so, who will be collecting this info, who will manage and administrate this info, are these people trust worthy, these politician have their own motives even if it’s to back stab their own caste.
They know the true history of gurjars, they were the true kings of India but nowadays its all about money and not community welfare, gurjars were the ones who died for their honour protecting their motherland from invaders like the moghul/british.
I tell you one thing if the gurjars kings never fought with each other and the muslim/british invasion never took place you would have seen a different India today.
The gurjars would still be India’s kings and the other caste would work and live according to their varnas i.e. vaishiya, shudra etc….
And even if they show that gurjars maybe less than other castes, I can show you statistics where they are the most in India and Pakistan.
These people change or try to hide the truth for their own material gains.

Sr. No Seat Name Party Votes Result 1. Kithore Lakhiram Nagar BSP 61909 Lost by 10000 2. Saradhna Atul Pradhan SP 48023 At 3rd position 3. Deoband Manoj Chaudhary BSP 63632 Lost by 3000 4.(a) Nakud Mela Ram BJP 6606 At 5th position 4.(b) Nakud Govind Chaudhary Independent 14207 At 4th position 5. Shamli Virendra Singh SP 50206 Lost by 3000 6. Loni Madan Bhaiya RLD 64355 Lost by 25000 7. Sahibabad P;awan Mavai JDU 4211 At 7th position 8. Noida Sunil Chaudhary SP 42071 At 3rd position 9. Chata Hemant Ind 11868 At 3rd position 10. Garautha Ranjeet Judev INC 45001 At 3rd position 11. Gangoh Pradeep Choudhary INC 65149 Defeated Rudrasen (another Gujar from SP) 12. Kairana Hukum Singh BJP 80293 Won by 20000 13. Khatauli Kartar Bhadana RLD 46722 Won by 6000 14 Baghpat Hemlata BSP 56957 Won by 7000 15. Dadri Satyaveer BSP 81137 Defeated another Gujar from BJP 16 Jewar Vedram Bhati BSP 67524 Defeated another Gujar from INC 17. Meruth South Ravindra Bhadana BJP 72584 Won by 10000
The results show that Kithore has been lost due to vote division between 3 Gujar candidates. I think same should be the case of Loni and Noida (not sure)..!
Out of 7 winners, 3 are from BSP, two from BJP and one each from RLD and Congress.
The transferable vote of Mayawati's Dalit base ensured maximum victory for Gujars. In election it is a must to gain support from other quarters of the society. There is no winning candidate from SP because Yadavs are not there in West UP and SP's Muslim support could not work because there were Muslim candidates from other parties ...for example Muslim from RLD at Saradhna...!
Except the Noida belt (Dadri , Jewar) and Gangoh, Hukum Singh's victory is due to his stature, Ravindra Bhadana due to urban vote support of BJPand division of Muslim votes......khatauli due to Gujar as well as RLD's background and Baghpat again due to Dalit support...!
The figures of margin of the defeated candidates also support the theory of limited population of Gujars in West UP and their inability to attract votes from other castes / communities....!

Mr Satenyendra the Gurjar population in UP is mainly concentated in the Distt of Saharanpur, Meerut, Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Noida,Bulandshahr ( 85%) and to some extent in Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Agra, Jalaun, Auriya, Jhansi ( Rest 15%)
Also Distt Haridwar in Uttarakhand has nearly 1.5 lac Gurjar.
As Regards the reason why only 7 -8 candidates won out of 20 seats it is as previously suggested many political parties did not give ticket to Gurjar
At first the analysis of seats won by Gurjars
Gangoh -- Pradeep Chaudhary Batar won because of his solid Batar Clan Gurjar support besides other dominant Gurjar in Gangoh who are economically and politically very powerful. Gangoh has baoni ( 52 villages of Batar ), besides many villages of Chokkar(12), Tanwar and Rathi , Saroha Gotra Gurjar. Since Independence Gangoh has 90 % times voted fo Gurjar. This constituency falls in the Gurjar heartland of Saharanpur. Chaudhary Yashpal Singh (Chokkar) whose son was defeated by Pradeep gave a neck to neck fight to him. The Gurjar of this area are powerful , affluent with the political power always remaining with Gurjars. Chaudhary Yashpal Singh Village Titron also falls in this constituency.
Kairana - Again Like Gangoh Kairana after delimitation is again a Gurjar dominated as one third Gurjar population in Muzaffarnagar is in Kairana. Chauhan is the dominant Gotra ( 84 villages). Hukum Singh won because of Gurjar support as well his clean image of a serious senior politician who has many times been a minister in UP Govt.
Khatauli - Kartar Singh Bhadana won because of Gurjar support and frequent visits by Faridabad MP Avtar Singh Bhadana in favour of his bother.Kartar Bhadana has long been a political nomad as he has been to all parties in the past but did not win any election in past 6-7 years. He was earlier MLA fom Samalkha in Panipat. This constituency has undergone a complete change as in 2007 it was Jat dominated but after delimitation in 2012 it has become Gurjar dominated. Khatauli falls in the highly poductive sugarcane belt of Muzaffarnagar with this area having the Asia's biggest Sugar Mill at Khatauli town. Nearly 90 % Jat villages have been transferred to Budhana seat and many large Gurjar villages fom Jansath and Meerapur area added to it.

Meerut South- Ravindra Bhadana of BJP who belongs to village Phaphund which lies on Hapur Road won this seat. Ravindra got the urban votes as well as the Gurjar villages voted heavily in Meeut surroundings. Also this area now has many Gurjar villages which were ealier part of Kharkhauda seat.
Baghpat - This seat has nearly 60 % area taken from the earlier Khekra seat . Khekra is a Gurjar dominated area and Madan Bhaiya won many times from here. This Constituency now has many Gurjar villages which were earlier in Siwalkhas but now have been added in Baghpat. Baghpat seat was won by Hemlata Chaudhary because of huge Gurjar support and to some extent Muslim votes. Hemlata Chaudhary is wife of MLC from Meerut Prashant Chaudhary
Dadri- Satyaveer Gurjar Basoya won because of his aggressive image and this constituency alone has 90 % Gurjar villages and the Gurjar here are 1.75 lacs. This area is part of Bhatner( due to Bhati gotra dominance) which extends fom Loni to Kasna . Villages of Sachin Pilot ( Vaidpura), Mayawati ( Badalpur) fall in this constituency.
Jewar - This seat again has nearly more than 65 thousand Gurjar and 55 thousand Thakurs and 15 thousand Jats but Gurjar dominate Thakursand Jats here. Ved Ram Bhati won from here and Many Nagar Gotra Gurjar villages are in this constituency. Bhatta Parsaul is in Jewar area.
