The Gujjars of Kashmir and Himachal who have been classified as "Tribe" as per Constitution of India to extend benefits in education, jobs and other welfare schemes of the state have not been given political reservation in Vidhan Sabha & Loksabha............it is very unfortunate discrimination with them........the demand should be raised under the banner of All India Gujar Mahasabha....(if it has any meaningful existance to contribute to the society)......and should be supported by NCR Gujars in particular by providing the demand a proper platfarm and space through media..........It is very strange that while community like Meena of Rajasthan (a pseudo tribe ) are having political reservation at every level, the Gujjars of Kashmir and Himachal have been denied the same...........The Gujjars of Kashmir and Himachal have distinct life style and the most exploited lot of the society............by giving them political space it will be easy for them to join main stream and faster overall development which is lacking presently.....!
